So enjoyed this movie. In the late 80's I took my son there. We loved it there with all the friendly people in the shops offering apple tea. One handsome gentleman whisked us away to a lovely hilly beachtown for a sumptuous dinner. Great evening. Turkey is so beautiful. Oh, almost forgot there was an earthquake one night 6.7. Everyone ran into the streets til we felt safe to return to our rooms.

I can’t even imagine someone traveling to Istanbul for business and for nothing else! I worked there as a teacher when I was in my thirties and fell in love with the country, the history, and most importantly, with the people. I have spent full summers there for years, traveling around (alone) and getting to see the wonders as well as the hospitality of the Turks. Never had a problem because I respected their culture and religion and dressed accordingly. Love, love, love Turkeye. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I used to watch a lot of Turkish movies and serials, and wished that someday I could visit that beautiful country. This movie shows the lovely, picturesque countryside and many tourist spots. I just loved that. But it's a little puzzling how you can get stranded in a country and not find a way out. I suppose it's a willing suspension of disbelief. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie.

This was a very good movie. But things happens and sometimes unexpected but who leaves important documents like passport or wallet or purse and phone on a bus..Specially if you are in an other country you need to have all this on hand and of course be very careful not to loose it. They were lucky they had a chance to do what they did to survive. Loved the scenery they were all beautiful. Good for my bucket list.

I was so surprised when i saw the thermal springs! A long time back, I came across this photo on the net. Captivated by its beauty, i downloaded a picture. me being me, I don't know how but it came out double exposed. So interesting, fell in love with the way the photo came out. There wasn't any info of the area. Maybe there was but was erased. When i saw my picture in the movie, I was like,' oh my gosh! I know that place!' Lol only recognizing its photo. Truly a beautiful place. The areas they visited were very beautiful and glad I watched to the very end. Lovely story with many bright smiles.

the movie was so good, all the scenes were amazing, except , the woman suggested them to eat the leftovers of someone else's . Because turkish people are so hospitable, and I don't think that anyone can be so disrespecful to tourists or anybody else. That scene was very suprising for me, and I became sad. I took a transfer from Istanbul this June. On the plane I was told by the neighbor Swedish gentleman, the Turkey airline offers an one-night hotel and a free downtown travel.. I can't imagine how beautiful Istanbul is after I saw some pictures from my friend. Next time, I would definitely visit Istanbul - the beautiful and magnificent city, to know her closely 🥰🥰

Wow, almost the same thing happened to me in Turkey years ago!!! I was left behind by a bus at a bus stop between cities, with all my belongings being on a bus!!! And no one at the station spoke a word of English!

Happened to me too! Although I had a fannypack on with wallet and passport. I had sunstroke and passed out at a rest stop. Slept in a park and caught a bus back the next day. People were kind and shared food and drink. Bus company held onto my stuff.

Outra coisa mal feita nesse filme 🎞️🎥: na Turquia, mesmo sendo turista,uma mulher jamais usaria em público,uma roupa que deixa os braços à mostra,os homens não a olharia com bons olhos e seria um risco se a mulher estiver sozinha. No mínimo usaria uma roupa que deixasse apenas o antebraço de fora. Mas é apenas um filme, a realidade é outra coisa.

Am watching bcos of the beauty of the country. These 2 are so naive if at all such a thing can really happen. Its so easy to contact the US Embassy by requesting to use a phone. They could send an email to several places, e.g. his hotel, his employer, the embassy, the tour company if he had asked for the name, etc etc.

Tienes razón con lo de las emociones . Hace años yo pasaba cerca de la casa de una de mis tías y decía en mi mente en esta calle esta la casa de mi tía. Y así varias veces y un día tocaron el zaguán en donde yo vivía y Ho sorpresa era mi tía y mi mamá y más sorpresa cuando mi tía me ofreció que me fuera a vivir a su casa porque ella ya no vivía aquí en la ciudad de México, resulta que ella había dado a cuidar su casa y había venido a México para dejar su casa al cuidado de alguien y resulta que fui yo . Y si me fui a vivir a su casa . Pasados algunos años empecé a sentir temor constante de que me fuera a pedir la casa y así paso de pronto llego y me dijo que ya había vendido la casa y que el nuevo dueño la quería desocupada . Ahora me doy cuenta que mis emociones fueron las que movieron todo .

It's called Pamukkale, you can still go to Pamukkale, but they closed the chalk pools due to over tourism! I loved the chalk pools and I spent hours in them! The view, looking down over all the terraces was just so beautiful! I spent so many vacations in Turkey 🇹🇷, most of the them directly in Side, at a local B&B, which is a absolutely beautiful place to be! I rented a jeep and visited all of the beautiful places! I drove all the way through the Taurus Mountains up to Bodrum and then over to Datça with the ferry! It was on of my best experiences ever, because you get to see places, which tourists normally don't get to see and you meet so many hospitable people! They invited me for Lunch and Dinner and offered me a place to sleep! I sure miss Side a lot!
