Hearts of Iron IV is a grand strategy wargame developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive. Released on June 6, 2016, it is the sequel to Hearts of Iron III and part of the Hearts of Iron series of grand strategy games focusing on World War II. Did things a little different, ended up joining the Comintern before the civil war fired, and then Russia joined the the other Britain against me, Germany went to war with France who went communist and then was at war with Russia because France joined their faction. Beat the civil war, pushed all the way to California when they snuck some sneaky naval invasions through the Panama Canal to the east coast... and then as I’m dealing with that Mexico joins in to help the us. Lol somehow managed to defeat USA and get the achievement. Now I’m abandoning this save and never going back lmfao

Amazing but, much better than how I did it. 2 things the 7-2s are a strong early game but later on you need to invest in 40 widths. And also 4 good 40 width medium tanks will take care of any large death stack (speaking as someone who plays into late game)

something I learned from this focus tree, the facist one, and the monarchist one for britain, is that it always takes time to convert to a new ideology. Some countries do it on the fly or do it in a civil war, but not britain.

Im assuming just ignore the revisionist colony tree and just go down commie focus tree to Crush the dream? Is the exploit with the naval conference still a thing? (EDIT) Yes it is! For those who don't know, as Britain, delete all your bigger ships, send your army to Canada, tell any American country to dismantle their navy and then just conquer the US at the start of the game. Should work as any ideology too.

Jet planes aren't that good IMO. A fully upgraded fighter III fill easily surpass JF-1 and it requires a lot of research and resources to produce good quality jet fighter IIs in mass. As for the jet bombers, the only real benefit they have is the range which is incredible and they're quite fast so it's easier for them to outrun enemy interceptors but tbh you don't really need that many bombers anyways.
