The crazy part about this is that this would seem like a huge feat if you didn't know about modders. The humble brag about how massive it is but their turnout rate is very slow considering their budget. Meanwhile unpaid modders with little to no help are punching out mods that give every minor a focus tree. I appreciate the effort but I would be happy to hear that paradox would just buy the mods or pay the modders to help them expand things because it is really sad that mods can completely change the look and feel of a game for free and this is 20 dollars for Russia. I get it is a business but the only unique thing about this update is everything but the focus tree, as you can get similar things for free through mods.

Making a focus tree isnt just about content, its about realism and balance. A majority of modded focus trees that only focus on one nation are usually OP. At least with paradox a large amount of historical research and thought goes into every focus.

​@@wvance0316 I have to say I disagree and agree with both of you. Firstly @7POP modders also do historical research, they don't just pull something out of their ass where possible. On the othehr hand the modded focus trees really aren't as high in quality as the actual Paradox ones. Yes there are some with high quality, especially for comparatively minor nations. But many mods that add focus trees bloat them with modifiers and are - usually - OP to some degree. Additionally total conversion mods such as RT56 are hard to compare to vanilla because they change the entire game balance and how everything plays out. Mods are important, and some modders add really high quality content (note how I said content not focus trees) to the game as a passion, for free. I certainly agree with that. When Paradox is looking for new members for their team they actually give a fairly high priority to modders which have made popular mods for their own games. There is a certain vanilla-esque feel to how a PDX focus tree generally plays out - high quality focus tree mods would likely be focus trees indistinguishable from vanilla ones, one example would probably be Romania's tree in Kaiserreich.

Вы сделали огромную ветку фокусов, в её возможно даже будет интересно играть. Однако как факт, ветка скорее похожа на американскую пропаганду времён холодной войны, чем на что-то реальное, одна большая карикатура на страну с населением практически в 300 миллионов человек. Хотя на что я жалуюсь, в Европе восточный фронт ведь видят как бесконечное закидывание трупами, спасибо масс-медиа. Вы хотя бы с историками, которые политически не ангажированы проводите беседы, спрашивайте причины и следствия тех или иных явлений. Ветки фокусов станут куда более логичнее, интереснее, в действиях будут видны причины действий, почему эти люди так поступали. Те же чистки в СССР, можно было показать куда более интереснее, с куда более понятными причинами, но вы всё согнали в психическое заболевание усатого грузина, я вам могу только стоя аплодировать.

Условные российские фашисты, будут куда хуже относится к гитлеровской Германией, чем к тем же союзникам и закономерно должны стать союзником для вторых.

Как минимум у контрреволюции должна быть ветка на создание новой армии, не развитие уже существующей, буквально как и РККА. Про фокусы о восстановлении экономики после гражданской войны я так понимаю тоже забыли, а ведь нужно помнить, что если всё же получиться захватить власть во всей стране, то и прийдётся проводить огромную работу уже как минимум одно поколение выросло руководствуясь принципами партии. В общем и целом, ветка хоть и огромная, но всё такая же пустая в плане логики.

Agreed. Italy and Germany are my favorites, they are the most fun countries to play as, but Italys focus tree is so small and crappy. There's so much to work with, i dont know why its so small. They desperately need to update it.
