In the invasion of France, the Brits used a flamethrower tank. It was very effective at getting Germans to surrender. Not that good in battle though.

Sort of, but not really. Playing the U.K. is still fun, even though they have the -25% recruitable population. It isn't critical to get rid of that to have fun playing the game. Portugal only has a 35 day focus to get rid of the disorganized military debuf or whatever it is. I'm more concerned it would be like Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey where you have to get rid of the debuffs before you can really play the game. Even France with the Victors of the Great War debuff is still totally playable early on. There's a right way, and wrong way to do it. And I have a feeling that Italy will be crippled by negative debuffs making them not very fun until late game.

I did the restore the monarchy path and was able to get 90% of the army on my side, mainly by framing Stalinist generals and admirals which kept his paranoia down until I did the focus to start the Civil War

@@chinsaw2727 You can basically keep his paranoia down for the entire game while waiting for the Civil War because the events to purge places like the academy or design companies but it does run the risk of him purging the more capable generals like what happened to me when he purged Zhukov and Rokossovsky because during the Civil War theres a chance they'll join you

there is a fun bit of stalin's early life that sums him up pretty well there is a small town in Georgia. there is not much to do for fun. one of the things that the town periodically does is get in a big fight with itself. it quickly becomes a quiet rule: you do not go after Joey. everyone else gets it is all good fun. Joey does not get this. Joey just gets that you laid a hand on him, and he didn't get you back. and so a week or so later, when you are exhausted and walking back from the field, little Joey is going to come in out of nowhere carrying a blackjack and do his level best to break your arm. they ended up sending him to a seminary, but it's an imperial russian seminary, so it's for the nobles who are too useless for imperial russia and the peasants who are too smart for their villages. this 1. made young joey an atheist, because the seminary was that bad 2. gave him a new and exciting list of people who needed their arms broken
