Agreed. They all did a great job but Kits performance absolutely floored me. I’ve rewatched this show more times than I care to admit and every single time his expressions, and everything he’s showing but not saying affects me as much as it did on the first viewing.

i love the rain sean its was so magical and nice i love when nick kiss charlie and and he stand on tip toes its so nice to see if u rember in frist episode charlie said he want sameone taler well he has it and also i love how nick tell charlie how he feeling and charlie hug him so speical and u can tell that charile will be there to help him though it. did anyone pick up when charlie run to nick and kiss him and then run off can u see sun flare across nick face.

After a while I've grown to feel most sorry for Imogen. She appears to be a genuinely good person but is just so awkward at times. Obviously liking some who does not like you romantically is bad. Also when she said she was an ally I felt bad for her since she truly is but was just awkward af in that interaction.

Yeah, I felt she was probably genuine in that moment but it still came off looking a little bad. I’m really hoping they show more of her character because it’s really hard to fully understand her after these first four episodes. I really want to like her.

@@ChachiSays they drop little mentions about Charlie being bullied a lot in the past and how he didn't speak up about it for some time. Tao had to witness all of that. He knew what charlie went through because of boys nick surrounds himself with/people just like nick. In the books they go into more detail about this, but without spoilers let's say it affected charlie very "seriously" No one wants to see their best friend hurt ESPECIALLY in a "serious" way and especially after Ben giving him the runaround. Which is why he gets so protective and angry too

Even in just the series, Tao has NO clue Nick is actually good guy. He never sees Nick by himself, only surrounded by the rugby boys. And even Nick’s mother says he is different with them. All Tao sees is that Nick is close friends with Harry and that he is straight (Otis said he liked Tara and now Nick is going out with Imogen). Even in this episode, when Tao throws the ball at Nick, it’s actually understandable because Nick was literally by Harry’s side when he threw it and then he goes and asks for the ball back, if I was Tao I was going to consider him one of the bullies too.

kit and joe who played nick and charlie is a very good acters they have a speical bond between them and they got very strong friendship and there love for each other are so real their passion is so beautiful and they got very strong friendship i love them so much they support each other and beening there for each other its so magic and lovely to watch and there chemistry is strong and they ment to be together and every time when they see each other u can see the glow in there eyes and they so happy to see each other

I just want to comment for a second on that one girl who said that some girls who are friends just properly kiss each other. No they don't. I've never just casually had a proper kiss with anybody of any gender. Unless you count being kissed by drunk friends at a nightclub, which definitely would not apply in this situation. It reminds me of a scene in But I'm a Cheerleader where the main character just assumed that other girls did the same things she did/thought the same thoughts she had about other girls until somebody pointed out that they actually didn't.

I feel like Imogen at this point is clueless. She calls herself an ally because it's the "proper" thing to do (she knows Harry's reaction is NOT cool) but she has no idea what being an ally really means. I think she will eventually be supportive of Nick and Charlie, though, because she's basically a decent person. She just needs to grow up a bit.

Um not that it's okay, but given that Nick stood silent as part of the group while Harry hit Tao with the rugby ball why wouldn't Tao be mad? Tao himself is being bullied. Throwing the ball back is nothing remotely close to the levels of emotional/homophobia that is leveled at Charlie.

Since Imogen isn't in the books, we have no preview of her story arc, but I really hope she becomes a comfort to Nick (they've been friends for years) and Charlie. She has a moment in Episode 8 that implies this (and that's hardly a spoiler at this point).

The title was off putting .....but I watched your reaction. I feel bad for Imogen (sorry, not sorry) .....she is a 16 yr old girl who has a crush on her friend. She, much like Charlie did, assumed he was straight. Sure is a bit embarrassing but at that age who wasn't. Nick, as much as I LOVE this character, has led her on a bit. By saying yes he's allowed her to think there is a chance. And I think her feelings are always overlooked in this moment.

I also said I felt for her at the end there so….clearly, I get it. This show has also not given me much about her character at this point other than a very sloppy interaction with Elle, Tara, Darcy. I think I’m entitled to feel how I did at that moment and this video.
