But that’s different from having someone in their late 20s playing someone almost 10 years younger. Tori is I think 17. Nick is 15 or 16 and Charlie starts as 14 and turns 15. I think Ben is also 15 or 16. The actors were 18 and 19 I think.

And in the show the dad forgot where he lived which seemed to upset David. That wasn’t in the books. The creator of Heartstopper said she was able to give more depth with David in the show but couldn’t do it like that in the comics
