This first season covered the first two volumes I love the way the graphic novels got adapted because we got to see so much more of the characters and I'm so excited to see a season two because volume 3 is my favorite The creator, Alice Oseman, says she would need 4 seasons to tell the whole story so I hope they're able to do that Also, fun fact: Alice confirmed Moonlight is Charlie's favorite movie in a Q&A

like that fighting scene they were literally a group against Nick.Ben is absolutely disgusting this is still a ben and harry hate comment.The fact that Elle and Tao realtionship was not confirmed is actually good!!. It took so much longer in the webcomic, so if they confirmed that earlier in the show it wouldnt let their relationship to develop later the way it happened in the web comic. Im also very happy about Nick being able to come out. I really genuinely cant wait for Season 2!!. I really suggest that y'all read the comic its one of the best adaptations!. We also need a counter for how many times Harry has said it's a joke

12:08 Charlie didn’t tell Tao because he knew Tao didn’t like Nick :/ Of course we as an audience know Tao was just worried about Charlie, but from Charlie’s perspective Tao’s opinion of their relationship is really important to him and he was scared Tao would feel replaced. I love Tao. He’s prickly but he cares deeply. From his pov, Nick is a lad that’s going to hurt Charlie in the end and is a bully like his rugby friends. I understand his fears. Also, he’s afraid of his friends leaving him. Tao got so much flack from a lot of people. I agree that he doesn’t always act in the best way, but he’s a 14/15 year old kid still learning how to be a person. Emotional maturity is a skill that we learn as we grow. I’m glad you also liked Tao. Ugh, Nick and Charlie are the cutest. I adored this series so much. I wish it were longer, but I also appreciate that some shows are shorter because they are focused on telling a story and not just on pulling views. You can tell when a story is crafted with heart.

It makes me so happy the show is doing well! It sucks that it’s so short but I think it’s been a good thing to get more people to watch it. I need a second season ASAP! Having read the comic, there was a lot foreshadowed. I cannot wait to see Charlie and Nick be happy and continue the slow burn of Tao and Elle. I’m so grateful this show can exist. Is it a little saccharine? Sure, but with so many show and movies that end in tragedy, I’m so happy to see gay and queen couples just be happy and in love.

There are going to be 4 seasons. This season is a mix of book 1+2 and the next 3 seasons will be based on the next 3 books (although 5 isn't actually out yet). I hope that helps!

tbh i get why charlie didn't tell tao yet, nick was still figuring things out and in the closet. and after that, he was trying to find the right time to tell him, but he obviously couldn't with everything that happened. again, it was done SO much better in the comics (the part with charlie not telling tao) also: it kinda bothered me when tao said "he probably wants to be more than secret guy you kiss sometimes on the down low", bc nick and charlie were already WAY past that point. they regularly hung out, openly hung out at school and talked all the time, they just didn't kiss or hold hands. charlie wasn't avoiding nick bc he found it hard to lie to people about their relationship, he was avoiding nick bc he was thinking of breaking up with him bc he thought everything was his fault.

God I totally recommend the comic to anyone who hasn’t read it yet. Even though this is a really good adaptation of course there’s a couple small things it leaves out. And god I relate way too much to Charlie’s anxiety. Hopefully they make more seasons cuz in the comic this does eventually get brought up and becomes a pretty big plot point if I remember right.

i hope some of the rugby boys will change in season 2, bc nick actually did have some genuine friends on the rugby team who were nice to charlie in the comics. harry wasn't even on the rugby team in the comics, neither was ben. in the show, we only see like 1 scene of charlie having fun with the rugby team, and charlie says "some of the rugby boys are nice" once, but there's no further mention of it.

Just finished watching Heartstopper! I love this show so much and I love that you reacted to the show.
