Looks like Nick is just going to continue being the best bisexual representation I could ever possibly ask for and is going to continue to mirror my journey lol I’m so excited to see Nick navigating the complexities of coming out because as you said you don’t come out just once in your life you come out all the time when you meet new people and no matter how long you’ve been out it’s still nerve racking to do it. So I’m excited to see Nicks journey in that :)

I’m so excited to see them introduce Sahar, can’t wait for the whole Paris gang to be together. I also can’t wait to see how they flesh out Issac’s character, he was such a great addition to season one and I can’t wait to see where they go with his character! You were so right about this feeling like a queer Disney love story. Heartstopper is the closest thing to a cartoon come to life that you could possibly get and that’s one of the main reasons why I love it so much.

When Charlie says at 2:43 "everything is going to be perfect" my heart did stop, as when a character says that you know the opposite will happen in a drama. Hope I am wrong.

Can we also just talk about Kit’s smile at 2:56 I am so happy to see Kit not hiding his smile anymore! throughout all the press junkets for season one Kit would always hide his smile and muffle his laughter behind his hand. It’s so beautiful that now Kit has become more confident in himself and is showing off his beautiful smile and letting us hear his adorable laugh! Ugh I love this for him! 🥹💙

Another thing I like about Heartstopper is that in a lot of ways it breaks down the wall of Toxic Masculinity and it shows Men's volunerability and showing emotions and crying and being angry and anxious etc ❤ it sends a message that it's okay to cry

Cant wait to see Isaac's story in the season. Joe Locke did confirm Isaac would be more featured. I was so happy to see bisexual representation myself. I imagine his journey with the aro /ace spectrum will be meaningful to many people out there. Especially to see if he does end up having something with James showing its not always black and white.

I'm excited to see what happens with Imogen and if she becomes friends with the rest of the group, and Isaac's story since they were both not in the books. Then, Christian , Sai and Otis since they were very in the background in the first season - I hope they get their iconic scenes from the comics. And lastly, even though I hate them with all my heart, what they will do with Ben and Harry. Especially since the cast is such good friends with Bash I'm wondering what storylines they gave Ben to keep the character.

Of course it’s not shown in the trailer, but I’m looking forward to hear more of Charlie’s mental health struggles. Especially since I heard he struggles with an ED, and with myself struggling with one in the past, I would like to see how it is going to be shown in HeartStopper. I also find it very important to show that guys, men, males can struggle with it too 🥺

From what I have been hearing, season two is going to be a bit more darker than season one, and that didn't really come through in the trailer. I wonder if people will get a bit of a shock when they see season two? The trailer highlights very light and happy areas of the season, but I do know they will touch on some darker subjects, which I hope they have done well, and I am sure they have, as Alice is there during filming usually.

What im looking forward to in Season 2 is discussing and exploring further with Mental Health illnesses because a lot of people go through that and it needs to be discussed and awareness and representation needs to happen too and thats kind of what were going to get with Charlie's Mental Health journey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I completely agree. I think heartstopper has a way of doing where it's doesn't feel like something that will ruin you but something you can beat.A lott of media made for younger audiences seems to always make the subject incredibly dark without exploring the options of changing it.

Nick means so much to me as a character. He’s helped me confront feelings that I repressed for years since middle and high school, and encouraged me to love myself. I’m glad he’s doing bisexual representation right. Anyway, The scene that I’m looking forward to the most is the prom scene. I know that’s not in the comics so I’m excited to see that, and it’d be a great way to end the season if it’s to be featured in Perfect. The scenes that may end giving me anxiety is Nick’s brother and Darcy’s home life, because I know what it’s like living with a homophobic family member. My family is the reason why I haven’t come out. To wrap this up, yeah, this is the queer Disney movie we’ve always wanted. Can’t wait to see season 2!

in trailer i love when they was walking down the street when they saw a queer couple having there arms around each other that gave nick the courage to take char hand and walk down the street that was so beautiful to see people like that haveing freedom and just been your self and this is so beautiful and so romantic and i just love them they a sweet and they love each other and i feel like crying to see them both happy and be there for each other and there chemistry and passion is so perfect and they feel so comfortable around each other and it so nice to have samething like this in real world

It is super exciting and I can’t wait… The trailer certainly confirms it follows graphic novel 3 with lots of teasers there of new plot and storyline and I’m feeling from this it’s going to be a much thicker plot, much more in-depth and more to take in than S3. It also looks to be filmed in a different light and slightly different style. I thought they may cut short on the kissing too, but that looks plentiful… I think the best bit is going to be the party on the Paris Trip, a lot happens that night, the party ‘game’, Harry rocking up, drinking and talking, vomit and the two teachers getting closer…

It's hard to choose! But I think Imogen, because there's so much visual hints/foreshadowing that she's nonbinary. She wore the trans flag colours so much last season, she has those bleached stripes in her hair and wite is the nonbinary colour in the flag... I'm nonbinary too (figured it out bc of Young Royals), and it'd be lovely to see that representation too.

I think maybe a little bit more in season 3 but I'm not really sure, maybe the 4th volume is going to be in the 3rd season? Poor Charlie baby😭😩I'm not ready yet with tissues and stuffs, I already cried enough in the novels. The fact is that heartstopper literally makes your heart stop if you only see the TV series, look at the trailer and go like "aw it's just cuteness and that's it" then you watch the actually show/read the novels, and cry

Its just my guess, but i feel they will just do book 3 in season 2, because it seems from this trailer, they go to Paris in the last episodes, where Nick is supposed to come out, and the book literally end with the paris trip ending.

Very sorry for that I'll try not to mention anymore , the fact is I couldn't remember if it happens on the Paris trip and the series is actually pretty different to the books in regards to adding alot of new scenes and characters and i didnt know if it was still included or if infact it was in the next series.

This season/series looks exclusively like they’re adapting only volume 3 of the graphic novels, and the titles of each episodes kinda cements it. I hope they renew for another or so seasons/series because I feel that volume 4 might need it’s own season/series unless they’re adapting both 4 and the upcoming 5th volume. Even so, I thought I heard Oseman say she’s working on another, a volume 6 😬. Netflix, please renew for more or extend the amount of episodes in the next season/series 🙏.

A third season was confirmed/announced at the same time that the second season was announced. Don't know if they filmed it at the same time they were filming S2, but currently it is supposed to happen.

I had thought that volumes 3 & 4 would be in season 2, but if you are correct, then season 3 would really have to take on a lot.
