I work at the cook out in Jonesborough TN, rather I did. But I can't anymore. Yesterday the power and water went out. But the boss wanted us to wait it out see what happens. Which I can understand. But even after the power came back on the water didn't. We could cook and serve meals but we still had no water. Do you know how many hours they made us wait before finally closing down early? 5 hours. 5 hours, no running water, 5 hours no working toilets, 5 hours no working sinks, 5 hours no way to wash our hands, 5 hours no way to clean our utensils 5 hours. Then when they finally did let us go home they made us scrape all the ice out of the ice machine, melt it down, and use that water to clean. But it took hours for each batch to melt down and even then there wasn't enough water to clean everything properly. And what's worst is that even now there's still no running water and the boss still wants us to come to work. I'm not doing it. I'm not working in a place where I can't be sure that my hands and utensils and the place itself is properly clean. Especially if we're going to serve someone else food. Some folks tried to discouraged me from this choice. But while money is important, it's not everything. So come Monday I'm gonna start looking for a new job

Why is it that there some Parents that feels like they have the Audacity to go up to a Teacher and Accuse them of not Teaching their Students right? I'm the Mother of 3 Children. When my Children were in School I never did go to the School disputing a Teacher's Teaching. I knew I didn't have a Teacher's Degree so I did what I could to help them. I told my Children that the Teacher knew how to Teach them better than I could, so I also Learned from their Teachers. Times sure had Changed from the late 1950's, and by the time they needed to go to School; in the late 1970's; learning was so Totally different. This Video talked about her Son getting a C-. The Child was Struggling. Apparently his Mom wasn't helping her child Study at home. All Parents need to help their Children the best they can, especially after school. One Time my youngest child came home with some Math homework, her Dad helped her; but; guess what she Failed. That's when I told her it's best that she learn how the Teacher would Teach her because we had been out of High School a very Long time, since Classes had changed Tremendously. I'm so glad to watched this Video, and especially when the Mom came back and Apologized. When we all grows up, and go out into the World, we takes all the Learned Skills from our Teachers out into the World with a Different meaning. Great Videos; thank you.
