Octavia kinda has a point. He did leave. He promised in ep2 that he would never ever do that, yet when he saw Blitz being sentenced to death he rushed there ready to throw away his life to protect him, completely forgetting that him being executed in Blitz's place would mean Octavia would be left without a father. It kinda shows what was more important to him at the moment. Of course he wasnt thinking straight in this moment, it was a rushed decision, etc, but its very hard to explain this to a teenager.

My problem with Octavia is that we've already seen this in episode 2. Like this issue is still the exact same issue and has not gone anywhere since. It just feels very repetitive. We are getting tremendous arcs from characters in the show. However, Octavia feels very stagnant. And I understand why, don't get me wrong. But I'm also not the biggest fan of teenagers or teenage stories anyway. I'm just not very interested whenever she's on screen. But again I get it.

Once in Trial, it was Lose-lose. Both Blitz and Stolas were doing something illegal (stealing and using the Grimoire, lending said Grimoire), as Stolas pointed out multiple times. Once found out, punishment was due. By Stolas taking all the blame (although the one who masterminded the whole thing was Blitz and he admits it himself "clean My slate" in the song), he spared Blitz from punishment but not himself. Point is, saving Blitz or not (which was the right thing to do like he said), Stolas would have still been punished for lending his Grimoire. He chose to lend it, but not the punishment. And he's been trying to stay as close as he can but it is Stella and Andreolphus who are separating Via from him. Via is still hurt, and her point is valid, but she doesn't know the entire story, that his dad fell inlove with Blitz years ago, that he tried but it didn't work with Stella, etc...

Teenagers don't have the life experience to fully understand something like that. It's why a lot of divorces end up with parents losing contact with their kids. All she saw was her dad willing to die and leave her alone. So that's what she's focusing on. She's also upset that he can't protect her now because he lost custody. She's decided to save herself, and because she doesn't want to be sad, she's trying to be angry instead. It's very complicated what she's feeling. She loves her dad, but she feels like that love is hurting her and Stolas too much, having him ripped away from here. She doesn't see Stella like we do, she grew up with the yelling and the condescending way her mother acts. And she doesn't have any outside influence to tell her that her mom's behavior isn't in any way caused by her father cheating. A child in abuse will blame the bad things on themselves. She thinks she's doing Stolas a favor. "You don't actually want to be with me? I'll let you go then. I make you miserable, well, then let me fix that and go." I feel once she learns the truth about the assassination attempts and that the trial itself was a trap, has a true heart to heart with Stolas where he listens and doesn't just give her promises, it'll be okay.

Agreed...but still, she's clearly seen that her mother couldn't care less about her wants and needs; let alone what she's feeling. So, why not stay with someone more emotionally stable...like Vassago?

29:05 to be fair, i get where Octavia is coming from. Stolas just sacrificed his life for Blitzø without thinking twice, wothout contacting her or even thinking about her. As far as he wanted, she could never see him again. And Stolas did have a choice. He could blame Stella or Elsa for a change, but he decided to do this great big romantic gesture, giving up his life without being honest. It is true that he chose Blitz. And in her eyes, she called her once and never contacted her again for a month (Stella took her phone), and when he decided to see her, she also did. I also understand what she meant with “it is my fault that you needed these?”. She is blaming Stolas for leaving, while guilting herself for his mysery, she sees her childhood in a completely different time and feels like she’s been burden on him. It’s so mature from her swithcing from “you ruined it” (loo loo land) to “it is my fault?”, she has now a different perspective

That client wants revenge on her husband, right? But in the past, we've mostly seen clients wanting revenge on people topside who were OPENLY RESPONSIBLE for their deaths. After what we saw with the husband, his daughters and the new man he's with; I believe that she may have died by her own stupidity by driving angrily out on a snowy road in the middle of a winter snowfall. It wouldn't be the first time someone died stupidly while driving in anger

Personal opinion here but i agree with Octavia while also agreeing with Stolas. SO here is my reasoning. During the episode of LooLoo Land Octavia had obviously talked to Stolas about his marriage with Stella and about Blitz being a homewrecker. Stolas couldnt even defend or explain he stuttered the whole way through because he obviously doesnt want her to know about the struggle he had with the marriage. Then Via asked him to promise not to leave her and go where she cant find him. Big hint in my previous sentence. I doubt Via knew about the hit on Stolas or how M&M went to save him under Blitz order. We know Stolas does not really talk to Via about this things based on her reaction. NOW comes the part of mastermind. While its fair in a way that Stolas went to save I.M.P (technically he owed them and obviously he wanted to save blitz but also keep in mind this all started because of their deal.) And Stolas was WILLING to die and be executed with Via watching completely forgetting about her and again imagine they had actually killed him then, Via's worst fear would have been reality because we dont know where hellborns go to when they die. He would have been in a place where she couldnt reach him. Now granted Via also has some faults because she is mostly tuning her parents out by blasting her music i mean even Stolas tuned out Stella and she planned his murder right in front of him like .-. Really!? But thats not the only thing. Its the fact that Via wasnt wrong nor was stolas. Via is his life, the reason he stayed in that marriage just like he said. He tried so she could have a normal life. So it was both love and obligation to a degree because he put himself through the pain in order to raise her even if the marriage was a piece of ass. And via obviously took it that way because of the pills so technically that one is true on both ends.
