But Moxxie’s dad appears to live in greed, which is where Moxxie grew up. I’ve heard that his mom is from wrath and he took her heritage since he hates his dad so much.

In my honest opinion, Stolas and Octavia being separated is tragic, but it's also needed. I like to think Stolas has been sheltering Octavia from some things such as arranged marriages and bad parts of the Goetia. Now that Stolas won't be around, Octavia will be exposed to those things, which will give her a better understanding of her father. And perhaps this separation will help her grow into her own power instead of leaning on her fathers and develop some independence. After all, baby birds got to leave the nest at some point.

Thank you for being completely normal about Via. People have been so hard on her, because Stolas WAS right and had to do what he did to save Blitzø, and because he WAS trying to call her, but what they don't consider is that she has felt so insecure about this for so long, and as much as I love Stolas, he sheltered her from how bad his marriage was. He meant to protect her and let her live a normal life, but really he led her to believe this idea of her parents that just wasn't true. He wasn't honest with her about his feelings, never had a talk with her about Blitzø, or loop her in on what was happening, he just placated her with "I'll never leave you", and then he did. Justifiably so, but he still did. I know she'll come around because they do love each other deeply, but it's right and normal for her to feel hurt.

She’s kinda done forgiving him, at least for now and I can’t really blame her for it. It’s always cool when a reactor has empathy for how complicated this situation is too!

Also, regarding Stolas' phone calls. Stella had taken the phone right after his first call, so that was the only one Octavia knew about. Later, when Stella talked about his other calls, Via didn't hear that part, only the laughter, since she was wearing headphones. And she was listening to music on her iPod-like media player, not her phone, so no inconsistencies here.

@@thelivingliver6715 I mean, they're getting mad at a cartoon owl voiced by an adult on a show for adults where we, the audience, have the whole picture of everything that's going on. It's fine to be passionate over fictional characters. Goodness knows I am, but I do feel like some folks are taking peoples' frustration with Via a little too personally. A lot of folks just don't like teens. They never plan on becoming parents and probably didn't even like themselves as a teen. What Octavia's going through is pretty heavily rooted in emotional teenage angst. And that's kinda the only plotlines they've given us with her. Hopefully, next season, we see more of her life outside of just her complicated feelings toward her father.

People's reactions to her are driving me nuts. He promised her to never leave, which is entirely possible for them since they are essentially immortal. Then she saw him on TV confess to a crime to save Blitzo and that Stolas thought doing so would result in his own death. He undeniably chose Blitzo's life over any future with his daughter. Even with him surviving, she still saw him make that decision and it is perfectly understandable for her to be upset with him.

As a pharmacy tech and someone who takes SSRIs, please don't stop antidepressants abruptly. Ween off slowly (like going from 40mg to 20mg, taking it in lower doses every other day, etc). Withdrawal sucks. Last time I went through SSRI withdrawal, I had a severe episode of psychosis.

True, though i feel like it need sto be said that it is also just fair to be scared of being pregnant in general. It is a huge thing that can change your life in so many ways you don't even expect, so although it can be a beautiful moment for people who truly are ready for and want kids, it can also just be an incredibly scary experience for those who don't. Although Millie and Moxxie's lifes do certainly add an additional level of stress, but i see many people try to find an explanation for why Millie seems scared and doesn't immediately talk to Moxxie, but i think just the reality of the situation in general can be stressful enough that we don't need additional reasons (Although there most likely are more contributing factors to her stress and fear over this...).

Octavia expects Stella to be horrible, so there's no shock when it happens. Octavia expects Stolas to be perfect, so every disappointment hurts more. He apologies, Via forgives him, and then Stolas does it again. Pain caused by someone you trust to protect you hurts so much more than pain coming from the expected source.

I love the twisted parallels between Via's song and Stolas' lullaby "You will be okay." I imagine Via wasn't just upset that Stolas lied to her and and left her for Blitzø, (in her eyes,) but also feels that maybe he's better off with him. She saw the happy pills and think's that he stayed miserable because of her. Maybe she blames herself for what happend and why he couldn't be happy with just her.

i thought it was really important that octavia says "so you just stayed miserable for me?" because she's right! that's exactly what was happening! and it's a mistake that so many parents make, thinking they have to stay in abusive relationships for their kids, when in reality it might be the worst thing for the kids. stolas should've stood up for himself a long time ago. i appreciate that the show is willing to acknowledge that he's been making bad choices all along without realizing it, and now he's experiencing the consequences. my prediction is that octavia is going to come into her full power pretty soon, she'll stand up to her mother, kick her and andrealphus out of the house, and fully take over stolas's position. i think she might even have kind of an evil arc, like she's going to be alone and in kind of a dark headspace for a while, and maybe stolas will be the only person who can bring her out of it.

You're right, but the idea that someone should have stood up to an abusive spouse sooner is easier said than done. Those "bad" choices are what ultimately, in his words, woke him up. Blitz was the catalyst that finally pushed him to ask for divorce. Which Stella has taken about as well as abusive spouses take that sort of thing irl. If not for IMP, Stolas would, at the very least, be blind rn if not dead. And, knowing Stella's temper, I can't imagine him really wanting to fan those flames when Octavia was younger.

I mean, stolas was literally a cog in a much bigger, much more systematic and malicious elitist machine that would not have taken a second to put him in place with whatever means possible had he tried to step up earlier. Thats what is one of the most important things about stolitz and their relationship. Before blitz came into his life, staying with stella was the only okay option he had to not only stay safe and comfy, but also the only option he knew. Inciting the wrath of the higher goetia, his father included by asking for an unheard-of divorce was not something that was worth doing, risking his daughter's and his own safety. When blitz came, he UNDERSTOOD that getting a divorce might be worth it. He realized that even if blitz doesnt end up with him, at least he showed and helped stolas understand how to be courageous, stand up to his oppression and abuse, he pretty much showed him how to be a master of his own fate. And thats something stolas desperately need. Him choosing to save blitz this way was the culmination of all of his epiphanies. And Octavia, while completely valid in her feelings, needs to understand that she is not the only person who stolas will love in life life. She and blitz are not replaceable or interchangeable and that he can love both of them at the same time. That stolas needs BOTH kinds of love in his life. That her dad was abused in every possible way. That her dad could NEVER have and never HAS loved her mother. Her mother us unlovable, and part of the reason why things reached to this breaking point, by trying to assassinate him. That her mother would've taken him away from her, irregardless of blitz being there or not. Only issue is, stolas fumbled the communication aspect between them so much (which is also a trauma response since childhood, of pleasing his father, the goetia etc. He also is terrified of causing his daughter to feel what HE felt as a kid listening to horrible things from his father. And its also part of his extremely conflict-avoidant personality- He has NEVER been good at having a conversation that may incite conflict, be it a violent one or an emotional one.) Thats why she, as a volatile teenager is now not open to anymore "betrayal", even via an explanation. I really hope the full picture is revealed to her BEFORE things get too worse. I cannot HANDLE these two being estranged. Stolitz I can, despite being their die-hard shipper. But not via and stolas.

25:20 I don't think Stella *needs* to be sweet to Octavia to win her favor right now. Stella is, as far as we can tell, consistent. If this is how she has always treated Octavia then this is how Octavia expects a mother to behave, what motherhood should look like in her experience. Stolas is untrustworthy in her eyes because he is the one who isn't consistent any more. All these years he's been working his butt off to be there for her, and now he isn't. We as adults can recognize the full picture of what is going on, but Octavia does not have the experience, the tools or the distance necessary to analyze the situation like that. She knows this imp guy showed up and suddenly her dad turned into a whole different person, and she can't trust him to be there for her any more.

There can also be further complication in Via not liking Stella either (though I doubt she’s aware of the full extent of how awful her mother is) but always having had Stolas there as a good parent. Him leaving her like that means that she’s stuck with Stella now. Another reason for Via to resent him that has nothing to do with her preferring mum.

I think Millie being upset is because she's worried about her life changing. She lives an action-packed, and thus dangerous, lifestyle and she loves that. She loves being an assassin and mixing it up. But if she has a kid, she's probably worried that she'll have to settle down, like her parents. Ironically, I think Moxxie would LOVE to be a stay at home dad. And we know that Blitz is actually a very caring and dedicated father, and would probably make a great uncle.

I love Stolas, but these past two episodes were definitely a much needed wake up call for him. He needed to understand that his actions spoke louder than his words in regards to the people he cares about, as well as the fact that he was the furthest thing from Blitz's equal and he was too sheltered and adjusted to his upbringing to see it. His place in the world now was the only way for him to truly realize that. To quote a song from one of my favorite movies, "You got what you wanted, but you lost what you had." And as someone who's been through a similar situation as Octavia and has her as one of my favorite characters because of it, I have nothing but sympathy for her in regards to her situation and her feelings about it. Even without Stella and Adrealphus hovering over her, she's still a teenager going through one of the most difficult things a kid can go through all alone, as well as reeling from the fact that the parent she was clearly the closest to having no problem throwing his life away for the person he promised he wouldn't leave her for. She needs a safe outlet to express her feelings before anything else.

My guess is that Millie knows that Moxxie would love having a child so Moxxie can not make all the same mistakes his father did, but Millie is horrified of the dangers having a child could bring them. Considering they don’t have a steady income as Blitzø will not pay them for weeks, her job is extremely dangerous to do while pregnant and if she actually does have the child that it would be hard to keep her job and spend time with it. And that’s why she was so distraught, knowing Moxxie would love a child but she knows that they cant have one without the incredible hazards that come with it.

So there's a lot of reasons Millie may be freaking out about being pregnant. One is the class disparity that imps face. We've seen that M&M live in a run down one bedroom apartment right now. I would assume that rent in Pride is probably higher, since that's where the people higher up in the hierarchy reside, but they need to live in Pride since their jobs require them to interact with Sinners. They're also contract killers, so their salary isn't very stable. They may not be able to afford a new place or a babysitter. There's also the fact that their jobs are dangerous. We've seen Millie get thrown around a lot throughout the show and in just this episode, which could harm the fetus. People higher up in the hierarchy, such as Satan, are very keen on keeping imps in their place, and thus treating them like shit, so it would be difficult for M&M to escape poverty, especially with a child, and they may just not want to bring a child into that kind of world. Moxxie's dad, Crimson, is also a threat. M&M may not even know about the warehouse collapse, and even if they did, there's a chance Crimson survived it like Striker. If he catches wind that his son has a kid, he might try to kidnap it to mold it into the heir Moxxie never was. There's just a lot of things stacked against them, so I understand Millie's panic.

Re: ~25:00 in, about Via's relationship with Stella; Unfortunately a lot of kids love and stick up for their parents even when they *really* don't deserve it. There may not be scenes of them having that connection because it isn't there beyond the mother/daughter biological obligations.

I love the fact that ever since Stolas lost his status and powers in mastermind, his pupils are visible at all times. It kind of makes him more expressive. Octavia´s VA killed it and she and Blitz would in my opinion actually get along pretty well if things were different (if she knew Blitz and actually have a conversation with both Blitz and Stolas before the divorce got so messy) Some things I noticed that make the episode even better : On 6:59, you can see the board with Blitz´s horse OC and one of them kind of looks like Stolas (The one with long neck). There is also note written "Be nice to him, he´s gay" which is hillarious in my opinion. Another horse (the one on the surfboard) has note written "He is just like me Fr" As for celebrating Sinsmas, Hellborn demons celebrate based on their Sin/Ring. Millie and Moxxie are from wrath, so they keep wrestling anf playfully fighting. Loona is from gluttony, so she keeps munching and snacking the whole episode. Loona and her friends also dress up as food on the party (Loona being popcorn, her friend hamburger...). Stolas also leaving the room as soon as Loona bringing out alcohol may be a sign that Stolas is trying to quit drinking. When Millie was in the bathroom, checking the pregnancy test before the reveal, the background song lyrics were : "cause I'm making a list, I'm checking it twice, I'm gonna make sure that nobody is nice" "By the time tonight is true, I'm gonna murder you" Foreshadowing? Maybe This song is also indeed performed by Verosika´s VA, good job on catching on that :3 Also love your vids Weeby and keep up the good work

27:18 Stolas can blame only himself for his situation, and that's what he's saying in the end of the episode. It all started with the illegal use of the Grimoire in exchange for sexual favors as an agreement between Blitz and Stolas. It is true that the former had broken into the latter's house to steal his book and in the meantime had actually seduced him, but Stolas, instead of taking it back, made his indecent proposal. The prince himself, rightly, understood that this situation was a mistake, that's why he obtained the crystal and gave Blitz a choice, with all its consequences. Taking the blame like that is love, but in my mind it's also called something else: taking his own responsibility (which I don't think he did following the events of Full Moon). It would have been really unworthy of him to let Blitz die with excuses like "I have a daughter" and "he broke my heart, who cares?". His sad gaze while Blitz was hugging him said clearly:"I have just obtained what I looked for, but how much it cost?".

She now thinks actually to be an obligation for his father. That's a situation above Stella: it's due to the hard reality of being part of the Goetia family. Her father tried to sheltered her from it, and now he can't do It anymore.

Can't remember where I heard this since it was months ago, but supposedly this season was more on Blitz growing as a character and learning to be a less shitty person, while next season it'll be Stolas's turn. No idea if that's true or not, but I'm definitely getting that kind of vibe. Also, THANK YOU for pointing out that Millie might not even want to be a parent! When the episode first dropped, some of the initial responses I was seeing from people weren't even considering that as a possibility. Drove me nuts! I have no idea which way they'll choose to take that particular subplot, but it'll be interesting no matter what direction it goes.

This episode is truly a masterpiece to Christmas special present that we won’t forget till next year with S3 in the development process. But we might be getting some Helluva Shorts while we wait till S3 comes back in action with some crazy episodes, songs, new locations, characters and much more. 😄 Also it seems interesting to state that Octavia’s VA did do some singing during the broadways, as well we heard her singing before in S1- Ep Loo loo land episode with the song “F-K you dad” song with it being the VA singing within her band providing the music. With that said, this might be a detail people who are fan of owls noticing that Stolas is acting the same behavior as a Owl when they notice a Pregnancy around them. It’s a detail that go by people’s head without knowing. This might a detail section if you like to hear about each character with rings they associate with, so these are my thoughts and details: •Moxxie and Millie are Wrath imps that they fight their way in Sinmas but it’s mostly a play fight way. Hints Millie’s family wearing sweaters with weapons on them •Loona is from gluttony ring, so she and her friends dressed up as foods and they tend to eat a lot on the Sinmas celebration •Blitz: He seems to be either pride or greed, but we might have to wait and see for S3 out there to discover his story.

One small detail that was interesting to me is Loona's eyes when she transforms. We know upper-level demons have multiple eyes; Stolas has four, and the Deadly Sins have like six. Loona had six eyes when she transformed, so does that mean she's more powerful than we know? Are we gonna get a Loona backstory revealing she's Beelzebub's daughter or something?

Even though Loona was only a side character in this episode, she shined. Finally, she is showing her soft side (especially to Blitz), having fun with her friends/family, and embracing Gluttony with Bee's party style (snacking all day). However, the biggest shock was her feral form, and I wonder where that comes from, maybe she got it from the book, or maybe she is special somehow (part Goetia with the extra eyes). Overall, it's a great episode, and I loved every twist, turn, and reveal ❤.

Something that's been stated by Viv since the start is that all hellborn, are completely created in hell and have nothing to do with humans or the Sinners​. Additionally, there would be no way for a human to get to a hound demon since they can't go to hell and Sinners are sterile. Finally, the human disguise that Loona has is something she obtained/learned and is not because she's a hellhound, which is why she gets angry at the Imps for not having disguises. She likely learned getting a disguise from the book, well Vortex got a disguise from Verosika's Asmodeus crystal. Also, after thinking on it the feral form is Loona's full demon form and is certainly something she got from the book, or because she is a Goetia hybrid. Demons can only access this form if they are strong enough and the stronger they are, the more elaborate it's and so Loona's form makes me think she is stronger than the average lower hellborn like Imps and hounds from her blood or the book.

My interpretation of Milly’s reaction to her pregnancy is that she is simply terrified of how it’s going to change her relationship with Moxxie. Up till now their they’ve had the perfect relationship as two hot-headed newly weds living freely with a job she loves. Having a child will mean they won’t have as much time for each other and that Milly will have to take maternity from that dream job that lets her spend time with her hubby. Motherhood simply isn’t what she saw for their golden years together.

25:08 I don’t think Stella is the best mother, she definitely isn’t, but I don’t think she would be horrible to Via because in this episode we can see that Via definitely has somewhat of a positive or even neutral feeling towards Stella and taking the previous episode into account when Stella hugged Via (although we know Stella’s true intentions through her evil smile), if Stella was a bad mum then Via most likely would’ve pulled away instead of hugging her back and seeking comfort in her I understand she’s 17 so she’s a minor and vulnerable facing such a stressful situation but I do believe that if she were to seek comfort she probably would’ve maybe gone to someone else she may potentially be close with or just bottle it up and console herself through music as we have seen her do before (I would also like to note that I am comparing myself to her and trying to imagine what I would’ve done in her shoes as I am her age and I know that if my mum was horrible to me I would’ve much rather consoled myself than seek her) Although there is definitely a huge chance that Stella would be a terrible mother considering the direction they’re taking her character, I feel like there’s still room to theorise and open up to alternative possibilities as we have quite literally never seen them really interact before

i can see both sides. via is right that not only did he give her up for a man who in her eyes broke up her parents marriage, even though it wasn't great, majority of his time was either spent trying to be closer to him or being sad over him and broke his heart as well. He chose to give everything up including her for blitz. Then finding the happy pills cemented those insecurities about herself as their child was that she was an obligation that kept her parents from being happy. via was probably his most treasured person in his life, depression is a horrible monster that destroys the persons mind, and makes people think that they drive them to be on the meds. he did make those choices without actually talking to via about anything, and didn't factor in his child enough. As his child he probably did try to keep alot of their problems away from her, which any parent would do, but shes also no longer that small chick earlier in the season. stolas is going to have to work on himself (especially communication) and how to make himself happy and keep tryin to connect with via. Via is hurt and when that anger and hurt calm down she'll hopefully take the time to listen to her father again.

While Stolas seemingly doesn't resent Blitz, some of the things he said, and the fact he didn't hug him back at the end, does make me worry that he might actually be falling out of love with him. Could be me reading too much into it, but the thing he said during his breakdown in the office about ruining everything for a fantasy does give me the impression that this might be a point of contention in season 3.

it's not that Via loves or doesn't love her mother, it's that she's been manipulated by Stella (from what it seems like) to see herself as an extension of her mother. And sadly Stolas did prove multiple times to her that he kind of forgets about her when Blitz is around. Because if he for example came ot see her right away and not a month later, she would react differently. So in her eyes, it proved to her that if Stolas leaves Stella, he will leave her too (even though that's not Stolas' intention). It's also kind of the reason why I don't see Stella being abusive as an excuse to Stolas' cheating. because even if it doesn't affect Stella, it affects his daughter and he should have thought about that and he didn't. that's a character flaw Stolas has, and i like that, i just wish people would see it as such, bc it's definitely a pattern that Vivzie makes it clear to be. And I think Stolas will have to grow and work on that before he reconciles with Via fully, and not just stop at trying to reach out to her.

Celebrating "their" sin explained: Each hellborn type was created by one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Imps, such as Blitzo, Moxxie, and Millie are originally from the Wrath Ring, and are creations of Satan. He even mentions this during Blitzo's trial. (They have since spread into the other rings, as have many others.) As Wrath is "their" sin, they celebrate by doing things that are wrathful. Loona, being a hell hound, is from Gluttony. That's wht she has tons of food with her all through this episode.
