Good job making the kill cones. I am needing some for our first butcher Saturday. I am using molasses tubs for cattle as we have a bist load of them. They are thick and dont be das easy but should last a long time. I can get 2 from each one.

Chickens provide so much more value ALIVE. 1. They produce eggs for years which gives more calories than their meat. 2. They make rich compost from garden scraps and fallen leaves that grows a plethora of nutrient-dense fruits and veg for your family. 3. They consume bugs that can harm you, your gardens and your land. Chickens are valuable powerhouses when allowed to live on a farm or homestead. It’s very short-sighted to kill and eat them. Give it some thought. 👍🏼
@HeartwayFarms2 жыл бұрын
Actually, we have given it some thought. We have over 200 chickens on our property some for eggs, some for meat, some for eggs and work :-) We totally see the value of all aspects of the chickens.
@forthosewhoHUNGER2 жыл бұрын
@@HeartwayFarms Thank you for your consideration. We, too, have over 200 chickens on our farm. We also have Silver Fox rabbits, which are typically “meat” rabbits. But we’re a no-kill farm and it works SO WELL for us. Our animals provide fertilizer, compost, eggs, pest-control, etc. I put this comment here not to pick on you or call you out but to give your viewers another option for chickens. We all have the same goal in mind. Sometimes the sharing of ideas and knowledge helps us grow to better meet the needs of our individual family. ❤️

Store them out of the sun, or they will get brittle and shatter apart.
