I remember when I lived in Vegas for 6 years, I woke up at 2:00 in the morning multiple times only to check the weather outside and it was 101°. We keep the AC running all day and night.

It was 108° the other day. The highest I’ve ever seen it get to here ever was 100° and that was maybe three times times in a year. Normally in the summer, it’s in the 90s.

64° in San Francisco rn. It's no wonder why it's so expensive to live there. I would think that it's an important enough city to include it's weather ❤🕊️

Dang must be nice. Where I live in the Midwest it’s gotten progressively colder every summer the last 10 years.

I recently watched NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, where they covered a story about a deficit of batteries for solar power in California. However, the headline misleadingly stated, "There's too much solar power." This is a significant and intentional step of misinformation, which is completely out of character for NBC and Lester Holt. I am appalled and disappointed by this. The real issue is a logistical failure on the part of the industry and government, not an excess of solar power. How could NBC present such a misleading narrative? We still heavily subsidize fossil fuel companies that are harming the planet, and now we're being told that there's too much solar power simply because we haven't built enough batteries in pace with panels? This is a clear case of poor planning and even poorer journalism. NBC needs to correct this misleading statement immediately.
