Our House is 75 years old. It had Bricks in the roof along with wooden slab. It was constructed using LIME, SODA, BEL Pulp, Jaggery, Soda. Cement was not used. Still it is strong enough to withstand for the next 50 years and so forth

1.Multiples your Cost, 2.Even if the slightest gap,bend or crack in the Steel Bars takes place ,Bricks will fall resulting in Severe Losses, 3.Steel I sections are not placed properly. It is wrong to place such things on a Beams. Slab should evenly rest on Beams directly. 4.For insulation cheaper methods of False Ceiling are better.

You may try to replace the bricks with thermocol slabs / bricks.

Monkey problem. इधर बंदर बहोत है, बंदर जोरसे कुदते है. बारिश मे पाणी नीचे आता है. ब्रिक स्लॅप त्रिकोण साईझ होगा तो पाणी नही टपकेगा, और ब्रीक फुटेंगा नही. आयडिया अच्छी है.
