Wait…who in their right mind is going to place a heat lamp up against material? Should there be noncombustible material a way from the heat lamp in order for the lamp to generate effective heat? Thanks

The premise of the video is to point out what can happen if your heat lamp falls onto bedding material. Typically heat lamps are installed well above (12"-24") bedding material so that the generated heat is spread over a larger area. At that height, you shouldn't have any concerns.
