Would be useful for a follow up vid with the determination of the ASHP power based on 1 the heat loss assessment, 2 pipe flow temps and the pipe diameter used to deliver same, 3 room temp targets 4 radiator sizes and 5 other considerations. The real nitty gritty of the system, which is never talked about.

I’m surprised that you’re working with a watertemperature of 38’C to the underfloorheating in a newbuilt property. Overhere (in the Netherlands) we’re more used to max. 30-32’C to get better COP values.

@@dorewoodman : It's a combination of the code requirements for R-values in new built homes (Walls 4.7, floors 3.7 and roofs 6.3 W/m2K) and large enough underfloor heating pipes at close distance (mostly 16 or 20 mm diameter at 150 mm [ or preferably at 100 mm ] distance.
