Sir i am studying for the effects of roughness on a circular microchannel. I want to create the entire rough surface on the inner surface of the channel. I have my conditions as: Outer diameter- 0.282mm Inner diameter- 0.123 mm Length --- 140 mm Roughness height--- 1.4 micrometer standard deviation-- 1 micrometer. Please provide me a demonstration on how to create the model with rough surface and study the heat transfer characteristics. It will be you major help

Caution, you're confusing the "Solver Output step" for solution display while solving Vs. The proper timestep used for time discretization. Study>Time dependent>time dependent >Timestepping.... there you choose BDf or G-alpha fixed or free timestep.
