Love that you showed the field Vertex Map field technique although the depends on the mesh density.

this is really great stuff, thank you - octane is always in need of high-quality material tuts since there's so much shit out there. also hagelslag is a dutch topping, it is little chocolate strands that you pour on your buttered bread. had no idea it was a shader in octane, was a nice surprise lol

Hey! Thanks, ye I checked out what that node name means before tutorial, but I feel like it suits for micro scratches really good, sometimes it's hard to find right high res similar texture which also doesn't repeat, and hageislag is right there for everyone in octane nodes.

Great Tutorial as always ^^ Could you make a video about a procedural circular brushed Metal material with Anisotropy. I have tried to create one myself, but I have not been able to create a material that works reliably on different objects. I'd like to see your approach for such a material.

Great tutorials. Im a newbie and recently came across your channel and am now learning loads. Your tutorials are so much better than the other materials tutorials that are out there. Will you be making any more? If so I'd love to see a procedural circular brushed metal material. Thanks again for the great tutorials

life, money, rent, bills etc etc lol. I had planety of time to do tutorials back then, now i barely have any time for myself, just trying to save enough money for own flat, so i dont have burnt out myself every week in work with crunch. At some point i will back to youtube im just looking to be more stable to be able so. Also on side im part of CG Hacks, which is new website with quality assets for 2D/3D graphic designers so im putting my free time into that, you can check it out, i made few tutorials there on our YT channel. And also im responsible for 3D materials packs in there.
