I get tingly when I look at this module. DCS has always been pretty, but this...you can almost reach out and touch it. Very much looking forward to seeing it through the eyes of virtual reality.

I hope there will be less weared cockpit textures. Most of it looks fine but some panel looks a bit too "used" . Its like an instrument of a plane I expect to see in a museum.

I have not anticipated with so much excitement, anything in the flight sim genre as I have this release..... I even bought the Mirage before i realised it wasnt Heatblur..... never mind, minor setback, Viggen will be next purchase, my favourite 80s aircraft when i was a kid, I even traced outlines onto cereal box carboard to make a chuck glider such was my addiction. And I used to play the Dynamix Aces Pacific / Europe series back in the day, so Ive waited a while for these gifts from the God of Simulations.... Cannot wait..... :D EDIT: I have a new mboard, ram and cpu waiting to plug in when its ready.... damn the expense, I will have what i need !!!

I built my rig because of GlowingAmraa's A-10C trailer. I couldnt beleive the MFCD would operate and that was in game footage. Enjoy!

@@pilotguy1141 - This was for the A-10C ADD-On which really was the reason for me to get DCS years ago. But, the original video is on Matt Wagner's page and eventually became a formal employee for DcS if I am not mistaken. His station has an updated version, but seeing this video after last remembering only Xplane & MSFS and then this literally made me cry. @heatblur I've spent the last ~2+ years in mourning because the F14B is so wretched STR/ITR/TWR/lift-wise in BFM. Also the fragile flap damage model neutered it below 300kts. When you guys frailized/fragilized the F14B flaps and it went from being so awesome at BFM to being so wretched at BFM, part of me died.

Ahhhhhh I remember flying this for the first time. Controls were not set, couldn't ever look around with the mouse, so I ended up just randomly clicking trying to get the camera to turn. I said screw it and went to hit what I thought was the throttle and take her up to max altitude. Well throttle I did not and so I quickly started to lose speed. Also I was pitching to the right a bit, thinking that wind was a factor, I pressed on. I thought out loud at one point, " what would happen if I flat spinned this thing?" Soon enough, I was spinning right and dropping like a rock. Thanks to replay, I seen what I had dont. I had hit the RIGHT SIDE FUEL CONTROL SWITCH. I was doomed from the start...

So, you would rather them not iron out issues that may have popped up, that would possibly ruin your experience with the jet? What if its an implimentation or optomization issue? Would you rather have those than as a bug free as possible product? What if they are finalizing things in the back so you can have a friend ride along? Point is, there is alot of unkown things on our side of this beast of a module. Be patient.. Or you know, we could have another Hornet style release where you can kinda fly it with dumb bombs and aim 9's for a few months.. Which is what would happen if they would "just release it already" like a lot of people have been saying for damn near a year now. I'll take a fully formed module over the mess that was/is the Hornet and will be the soon to not be release "Viper" :)
