Doc Rivers has given Pat Connaughton nothing but DNP's for 2 weeks and promoted the young guys to starter and rotational pieces. Bucks have won 7 games straight since he made the change. Pat Connaughton is making $9mill/per to sit on the bench.

Why the hell would he do this against a bottom tier Knicks team. Just play a rookie, let Lou rest, and see if he’s good by the 4th. Risking your player getting humiliating or worse hurting himself/others. Just to possibly get a win against a bottom tier Knicks team. Instead of playing your young guys.
