The Queen Consort, Camilla, has opted not to wear the crown that contains the controversial Koh-i-Noor diamond for the King's Coronation.
Royal experts say the decision has been taken to avoid a diplomatic row, as the UK has been in possession of the diamond since the East India Company seized it in 1849.
As India says the diamond "brings back painful memories of the colonial past", is it time for the diamond to be returned back to India - and should we hand back the Crown Jewels to their true owners?

Kohinoor was originally taken from a temple in Andhra Pradesh in South India. Pakistan has nothing to do with it. Similarly Ranjit Singh, Nadir Shah, Ahmedad shah Abdali, Mughal Empire, have nothing to do with it either. Thieves and Bandits cannot claim ownership. However, it is better for it to stay where it is, as if it will come to India, someone may steal it like someone stole the Nobel Prize of Rabindranath Tagore. It is better if the UK pays for it to India, and the money can be used to build several world class hospital in Andhra Pradesh.

Your reason for not returning it back is that whom to give it to India or Pakistan or Afghanistan, whom you yourselves partitioned before independence. One thing to be noted, there was no Pakistan or Afghanistan (no disrespect) at the time you took it or even at the time it was mined out of the Indian Soil (Probable Mined Location: Andhra Pradesh). And when she goes and check the authenticity form of a legalised Jweller. She got to know about the actual ownership of the Jewellery being YOU! What should she do now, should she return it back? Or should she keep it for herself just because it was being presented as a gift!? It was notified to you back by the legalised Jweller, but now both you & your husband are divorced. You don't return a gift 😂🤣🤡 The Cullinan diamond was purchased, legally by the prime minister of the Transvaal people and then gifted to the King. The crown was gifted the diamond... Koh-i-noor diamond had first been apart of the Persian Empire, through the years landed into Mughal hands and into the Sikhs of Punjab.. India holds claim to the diamond, but so too does Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran... Imagine giving it to any of these nations would just spark more issues between these nations... The United Kingdom has rejected any and all claims to the diamond anyway as they're apart of the crown jewels and owned by the government and aren't allowed to leave British soil anyway..
