Big up Tom for shouting out Quansah. Was essentially defending by himself in that first half, arguably say he was our best player over the whole 90 (or the 85mins or so he played). Reev putting him down shows he didn't actually watch that game. Probably not TOTW worthy but just wanted to defend the lad.

Unfortunately I agree he wasn’t that great. As a Liverpool fan I would love to say he was elite but in reality he did “good” for expectations but he wasn’t actually a top 2 cb this week. When Konate came on we were infinitely more secure defensively

@@Jord97x yeh I definitely don’t think the reaction was fair. Him getting a shoutout in a video like this is nice but I just think if it were a maguire coming in and having his performance he never makes this team. There’s a level of young player bias that comes into play in these types of situations, and quansah deserves praise for his performance, but only praise because of his lack of experience. In regards to his overall performance. I’d agree he had the least errors of the back line in that first half (I do think robbo was solid apart from the goal where I think both him and Alisson should’ve stopped the cross) however there were a few occasions where quansah got onto the ball near the halfway line and under a small amount of pressure just kicked it out for a throw. It’s a lot easier to avoid clear errors if u are less willing to take risks and try hold onto possession of the ball until u can play a pass.

@@Pineapple16 Seen a few people complain about him kicking it out. I don't mind it, especially the ones on a bouncing ball. That very game we saw Mac Allister lose the ball repeatedly trying to over play.

Quansah was actually very good for Liverpool especially for his full debut at 20 years old just actually proved that reev and Theo actually didn’t watch the game he was literally the only Liverpool player in the first half who didn’t put a foot wrong
