Disrespect to Areola is crazy. He is one player I bigged up a lot when he was on loan at Fulham and always say I would love to sign him so I don’t feel entirely biased by saying I think he’s been one of the best keepers in the league this season. The guy makes so many unreal saves for us. Has kept us in so many games. Even in previous seasons in Europe he has saved us so many times, probably one of the biggest reasons we actually won it last year.

I know this says currently but this literally shows how reactionary football is. Ramsdale last season was apparrently 4th best keeper in the league yet because he gets replaced no one even says that hes good.
