Heater channel replacement. Part 1.

In this video I go about removing the driverside heater channel ready for the new replacement to be fitted.

Those are the original heater channels. That’s very rare these days. Although it’s needing a lot of work that looks like an excellent base for a project.

They've since been replaced. If it wasn't for the front of them by the napoleon's hat I would have tried to repair what I could. A lot of it was in good shape. Bit gutted to have replaced them but had to in the end.

Nice work! Is your Beetle a rare GT1600? One of 2500 lightweight models for UK only...had sport gearbox, Beige cloth trim, padded dash, rubber mats, plastic centre consul, alloy gear stick with wooden knob...
