I have a 24 year old who has Aspergers and a 19 year old who has Atypical Autism, Dyslexia and ADD- My eldest son has just completed university. He was diagnosed in Year 12, and received no support… To say it’s been a struggle is a huge understatement, but only because of the lack of understanding out there…I don’t resent a single second of being their mum, and attempting to navigate what appears to be at times, an impossible route through the education system… saying that; there have been a few superstars along the way, that have been truly amazing! Thank you so much Georgie for raising awareness! And a huge congratulations to Holly… I can’t wait to read your books! x

The Geek girl interview was amazing!! xx I am a mum of 3 (17-10yrs ) my youngest child is 10yrs old. He is my only child that has just received 'Neurodiversity training' at Primary school in the last 6 weeks to have a greater understanding of people around them! Things are moving forward!!

The interview with Holly was so interesting for me as I work in education with children that have SEN. I'm very passionate about this because sometimes people see the condition more than the child. Which I do not, they just think differently and see the world in the most unique way which is fascinating. They are able to make progress like any other child, it may take a bit longer at times but they do.

My 16 year old son has dyspraxia, he may not be able to ride a bike very well and he writes like a doctor. He is doing great at school regardless and is becoming a well rounded young man. We always have told him he’s smart and that he just thinks differently. Talking to others Mums helps, you be surprised how many children have dyspraxia and dyslexia in your school. My advice, lots of hugs and cuddles and get him a trampoline this helped with building balance and core strength. From one Mum to another he’s going to be fine.

Miss Diana she was an incredible woman… she was a style icon she has done more in her short life than I have… I feel if she was alive today she would still rock it… pure class. Super happy federer is back watched him play earlier and I’m so happy his through to the next round..Heathers outfits are just fabulous. My friends son is autistic really enjoyed the segment. Unashamed PJ fan club!! Wearing pyjamas is just another way to embrace fashion. I know you'll raise an eye to my cheap/low end high street suggestion, considering your usual beautiful high end brands, but the Primark pyjama range is lovely, there is something sweet, childish, pretty or floral. Plus they are affordable too! Worth checking out if you are (like me) on a budget.
