Wow Heather this Van you are staying in at the moment looks amazing. And I’m glad they even thought about a place to store your mountain bike and even comes with a portable toilet. You can not go wrong with that. Nothing worse in the middle of the evening or have to get up at night when you have to Pee . I’m always looking forward to seeing you in your next adventure x 😊

I live in DC and have a Jeep Gladiator modded for wheeling and camping (including RTT) and kitted out to carry all my mountain biking, recovery and camping gear. I’d love to take it out West but just don’t have the time in my life for that kind of trip. A company like this is just what I need. I could fly out there with my bike and fam and we could rent one these rigs. Would be awesome. Personally, I’d prefer a 4 x 4 with camper or RTT bc I’d like to hit some of the passes and moderate trails as well as hike and mtb, but if not doing the offroad thing I think a van is easier. So probably will just depend on what we plan to do on the trip. Great vid and super helpful info. Thanks! 🤙

Thanks for share because with this info/video you bring an idea for people who think never will do a trip or that kind of adventure cause’ they do not have a van equipada with those features. A little question… What is your height? Cause you fit very well in any van.

Ford needs to make a rear engine van 2.5 or 3 litre engine V4 maybe diesel 4 speed stick and auto on same size pattern of VW westfalia and for commercial .start the test bed with existing production engines/ trannies and go from there .One major change no lateral controlling arms only longitudinal with rocker mounted McPherson for cross mounted for /aft and lateral integrated suspension .Still talking about cheap stamped controlling arms but mounted fore and aft swing not lateral,struts in the rockers aka Citroen 2cv but with cross lateral torsion system.

"I'm thinking" isnt a great thing to say around elk, bison, moose or bears. They have a tendency to prove whatever you were thinking wrong in a quick and often dangerous manner.

I will keep that in mind for the next time I see them. Thank you 😅

@@HeatherMunive oh no problem, and sorry for being "that guy" in the comments section. Just had an interesting interaction with a moose as a kid that taught me to stay far away. It might not apply to RMNP elk, it's been a while since I saw anyone test the theory. Hope you have fun in Colorado, the rockies are incredible!

Did I really see a propane tank inside the van without being in sealed locker? That is a dangerous explosion hazard. I find it hard to believe a van rental company does that with the hazards involved.
@diabeticnomad5 ай бұрын
Actually no perfectly for propane to not be in a sealed locker for tanks that are in transit.
