Hey, man! It's been fun watching your improvements all through this build; from the original bubbler to this creation. Saved me some trail and error, time and money, for sure. I downloaded and studied the Tom Ogle patent, and gonna build a very similar setup to yours on my 8hp rider mower. Love the ammo box idea! It's even got a rubber seal, and Harbor Freight sells them pretty cheap.

you say 90 hours. is that on a gallon. this video is got to be the best one I have Sean yet. and I have looked at many. it sounds like it runs better with a wick. the warmer the fuel the better the vapor. try putting the box longways next to where the exhaust port is with less bends the better air flow as well. I honestly think you have this whooped. I wish to chat with you one day I have some Ideas

I have tested this, it works, I run a 13 horse Honda gtx 390 with about a 1/8-1/4 gallon, for about 30 minutes. then the gas is milky brown from the humidity in the air, I use a bubbler configuration. sad to say, without a valve system like yours, I think I get longer runtime from liquid, UNTIL I prefect it.

Can you do a how to build video. Something with every part what it is made out of. What it is for (such as the ball valves you have). How to make the part or make it fit. I want to do this but i want to do it right so i don't mess something up or hurt myself.

Adjusting RPM by leaning out the mix, lean burns hotter and that's hard on exhaust valves. A lean mix also "detonates" easier...could hole a hot piston or burn a notch in the valve. BUT water vapor slows the flame front to prevent detonation and cools the combustion chamber to protect valves..and some of it heat cracks to lessen fuel demand. GREAT JOB on design, Dude! So..when evaporating volatiles out of gasoline, I'd think the solids would stay in the tank ["varnish"]..and that's a good thing not to be making abrasive ash in the engine, but do you find you have to clean the tank now and then? But then, using an ammo can makes that pretty darned easy. Lacquer thinner cuts varnish like magic...a little rough on rubber fuel lines though.
@JustAlanIsCool8 жыл бұрын
Now that's being efficient! Using that otherwise wasted exhaust energy (heat) to work on the fuel. I'm confident that after just a few of your videos that I've watched, that I understand 99% of how it all works. How it's put together, too. (I'm a long-forgotten machinist but I still know a thing haha)

Ok didn't know if you kept the carb on there. I couldnt tel from the video.I have messed around with such plans. I eliminated the carb though. I just used ball valves for air & fuel regulation. This is awesome! Where could I get an antibackfire valve like you have? This last week I made a super simple bubble type vaporizer. Starts my lawnmower up with one pull! Usually takes 3 or 4. I then tested it on my 86 Mercedes Benz and it started up faster too! Although it didn't run very well because I had no way of adjusting air amounts etc, plus the bubbling method seems to be very inefficient in comparison to wicking.

Kevin Smith you bet it will, if its fuel injected, just by running it in to the intake manifold as a extra supply of vapor the o2 sensor will detect a rich mixture, and the computer will tell the injectors to cut down on the fuel being fed to the engine causing it to get better fuel mileage, remember this gas vapor is heavier, it will travel along the floor, hydrogen gas is lighter then air, it will rise upwards. if anything hho gas would cause it to run lean, gas vapor would make it run rich, not lean like some people think.

Hey Vapour Kid, I wanted to share my findings with you regarding a magnet and my liquid gas line. I`m not sure how much this would affect a vapour design but I`m thinking it would only increase the combustion. I bought these magnets to restructure the water in my home for my washing machine water hoses, kitchen tap water lines and shower by facing the north pole to the water lines. This gives my more soap suds and a smoother flowing water with the sent of chlorine diminished !! Back to the fuel, I read and researched magnets on fuel lines and found they only sell trinket sized novelty magnets for fuel system sales. Those will just not do !!! Try the ones in the link, just place the south side of 1 of the magnets so it is facing the fuel line and listen to your engine. Only takes one to notice I have not tried 2 yet as these are very strong and can fracture or break finger bones if you not 100% careful and have a strong bracket to keep them from spinning around smashing into each other. Give these a try, one for your vehicle south pole facing the fuel line or try using the north pole for a bit then the south pole to see if you notice a difference I`ve only used the south pole due to my research but will soon give the north a go and see. For your dinking water only use the North pole facing the water. Hope you give it a try I`m sure you will be surprised, thanks again for sharing your experiments great work :] www.magnet4less.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_5&products_id=965

The magnets I posted have a pull force of 147 lbs vs the 5 lb pull force most sell for the fuel line. That said it will be not very likely you will find an answer that makes sense without a lot of digging. So far from what I have dug up and believe is that the molecules are being realigned or broken into smaller bits allowing the oxygen to get at all the hydrogen molecules making a more explosive reaction. Think of filling a bowl with marbles, now lay that bowl full of marbles on a cookie sheet easy to see that all the marbles are now exposed. Check out hydrocarbon molecules on Google image search and dig around for a more detailed image of the negative and positive polarities and you will have more insight to comprehend how it works.
@NoFear4XJs9 жыл бұрын
Let us know what you find. Cheers
@NoFear4XJs9 жыл бұрын
Sounds just like what I found, I`m still digging around it would be cool to find images that show what exactly is happening. Sometimes a picture or image really can speak 1000 words without the clutter or confusion some people can put on things. That said the above stated explanation pretty much sums it up, the fuel molecules are being realigned due to a magnetic field breaking up or neutralizing the static charge that put the molecules into large clumps...?

Hi vapour kid, great to see all this working! Just a thought but have you thought about vapourising diesel and running a diesel engin? I know that it's a compleatly different thing but from what I can see it may just work as when the piston comes up on the compression stroke instead of the injector injecting the diesel, the diesel will already be in the air sucked in through the air intake, please keep making these videos as its really inspiring, many thanks, Richard Love.

ya i remember reading about Ray Covey and the super-carbs of the leaded gas days. leaded gas, while murder on the environment, was less prone to uneven ignition and pinging, which in turn probably helped the heated gas super-carbs as heated gas vapor is more prone to pinging and uneven burn

I agree its not running lean .its running ar stoich ie 14,7:1.thez no computer here to control air fuel ratio.and the rpm is healthy.it will hunt as fuel level drops cause supply of vapour drops. With it.all cars run on a constant pressure of fuel always.a float added to the supply and a drip fed tank supply shud cure this by creating rhe constant pressure reqd.

with vaporized gas, if you put magnets on the gas line going into the engine, is it possible that the lawnmower will run longer, because of making it more efficient to burn gas, just like magnets would if you were burning liquid gasoline. I would like to know, that would be a neet experiment, to see if it would align the molecules, just like it does for burning liquid gas. if the vapor would align it's molecules then the mower should run for a longer time, because of being more efficient by aligning the molecules to burn them. TRY MAGNETS ON THE FUEL INPUT, CLOSE TO THE ENGINE AS POSSIBLE! that would be a neet experiment. I don't believe this greatly improved mileage claim. This makes no more sense than the HOH cells do ( it takes more electrical energy to break the water into HOH than you get out) Here is my problem with with your vapore system you are not doing anything that a carburetor does not do. The carburetor atomizes gas into a vapore it by spraying it through jets gas does not enter into the cylinder only vapore dose. This whole thing sounds bogus to me.
