I don't get exact meaning of it. Can someone please elaborate?
@raulsouza58663 жыл бұрын
@@imaansharifi I think he's saying our life is collective, essentially we need one another, even if you think you can live well by yourself you are wrong. Imagine, I hope this never happens of course, one day you will suffer a stroke. If you are left with sequels from it, you won't be able to live life without the help from others, even if you were the most independent person that had ever existed before that. You might need help even to clean yourself. And therefore, others need to give something to you. Imagine they see you there as someone who needs help to do basic tasks and they don't offer help...in a way they are taking something from you, knowing that they can help you live your life better and not doing so. I think it applies to many situations (just think about the basic concept of capitalism and how it stands on social inequality), but the main idea is that we can always do something to improve the collective life, and we must take a stand to do it.

In 1980 I was a senior. In those days kids brought new albums to school to show friends and give reviews. I went to a catholic school and teachers were priests and nuns. I remember starting one class when the teacher held up this album, confiscated from some kid I assume, and announced that we Christians should avoid it. He was offended by smoking angels and praising hell in the lyrics. I remember looking at it and it made me more curious. I bought it that weekend to find out for myself. I still have that album and have loved it ever since. I was no tough ass, fight against society punk, but I made my own decisions. I got a great education and the catholic school prepared me for the success I have enjoyed my whole life, but to this day I never agreed with that teacher. Think for yourself.

Only a handful were molesters over the years but those are all we hear about. There are doctors who rape and politicians as well. Dirty cops and firemen that set fires. When you have a large enough group of people there’s a chance you get a sicko. The guilty ones should be stored in a box underground but the truth is most do so much for so many.

Heaven and Hell Black Sabbath Sing me a song, you're a singer Do me a wrong, you're a bringer of evil The devil is never a maker The less that you give, you're a taker So it's on and on and on, it's heaven and hell Oh well The lover of life's not a sinner The ending is just a beginner The closer you get to the meaning The sooner you'll know that you're dreaming So it's on and on and on, oh it's on and on and on It goes on and on and on, Heaven and Hell I can tell Fool, fool Oh uh Yeah, yeah, yeah Well if it seems to be real, it's illusion For every moment of truth, there's confusion in life Love can be seen as the answer, but nobody bleeds for the dancer And it's on and on, on and on and on and on and on and on and on They say that life's a carousel Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well The world is full of kings and queens Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams It's heaven and hell, oh well And they'll tell you black is really white The moon is just the sun at night And when you walk in golden halls You get to keep the gold that falls It's heaven and hell, oh no Fool, fool You've got to bleed for the dancer Fool, fool Look for the answer Fool, fool, fool

American metal scene ain't bad especially local stuff from WA and OR. But even the mainstream stuff like Metallica, 5FDP, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold are good. The influences from classic metal are there, too. Modern European metal doesn't have as much of that left, but it creates and draws from it's own influences. Overall I'd say metal is not only alive, but it will never die.
