Its comforting to see that these filmmakers who've made a great film are just as much a human being as everyone else. I strive to find that in the artists I like, as I'm a beginner artist myself. They're fanboy enthusiasm is what made me feel this way. We all have the opportunity to do and create great things.

If they got someone to play Harley, other than Arielle, the movie wouldn't be what it is. I'm a new yorker who lived on the street with an addiction and most "drug movies", to those who have been in addiction and being homeless, don't look real or authentic. Watching this movie I felt like I was watching myself, or all the people I knew that were homeless addicts. Even the smallest details like when she texted the son of the ladies apartment they were staying in, when he took Mike's h*roin while he was passed on on bathroom floor.. where she texted him saying I know you took a bundle from him, I want some.. totally accurate.
