I’ve been going through a really rough time recently. I got broken up with, watched my mental state decline drastically, even attempted to take my own life. This video brought back such good, but painful memories for me. I remember playing Minecraft with my ex late at night, building a house together, taming cats and just having lots of fun. The calming music brings me back to simpler times when I would sit in the dark playing instead of doing homework. I miss those days, but i’m trying hard to get through the struggles. My moms been sick with a rare brain aneurysm since new years. I’ve been taking care of her. My bfs family hates me because he’s been helping me and her. He moved in w me and then we got into a pretty bad car accident in February (hit by a drunk driver) and life’s been crazy. I broke my pelvis but luckily we all survived. I’m only 19 and very stubborn so I healed pretty fast and I’m back to work. My mom had surgery to fix her aneurysm at the end of March but she’s still having constant headaches and may have permanent near blindness in her left eye. She might never drive again. She might never be fully independent again. I’m just glad for these little moments that remind me that the sun will shine again. I’m sure of it. We’ll all get through this. We just need to stick together and get through the mud. The sun will shine again friend. It’s best to be wearing something warm when it does :). You’re stronger than you know and idk what you’re going through but it WILL be okay. Curse, throw something, yell. Whatever you gotta do and then just keep keeping on.

Life is absurd, and I struggle to keep trying in it. Sometimes, all the effort i exert just isnt enough, and it can really get me down. On top of losing a relationship, you could infer i havnt been at my best recently. But i know, deep down, no matter how badly i beat myself up or how often i fail, i must keep trying. Ive begun to start thinking of trying as enjoyable. One of my favourite quotes is from Albert Camus, “one must imagine sisyphus happy” because even though he knows he is condemned for eternity to push the boulder up the mountain, he finds joy in the simple action of pushing the boulder. I think we can all learn from and incorporate this into our lives, even if not to a complete extent.

It's crazy to think about when I was younger dreaming of the future and now I'm living it. My mother and father are both sick. My little sister as well. My grandmother's health isn't great, but she's still kicking. Over these past few years, I've lost so many. I lost three of my younger brothers, my grandfather, great-grandmother, and many other relatives. My parent's relationship has declined due to their sicknesses. Sometimes, I miss who we once were. I miss the older days when my only job was to empty the dishwasher, and run around outside with my siblings. I miss family movie and game nights. We used to go camping and I remember always getting annoyed when I was told to put my phone away. Now, I leave my phone inside to listen to the birds chirping. My cousin and I had a world we played on religiously when we were young, but now it has become a place of memories. I struggle with my own thoughts sometimes, I feel like they consume my every waking minute and am sometimes scared of them. I've seen what listening to them can do and it terrifies me. It scares me knowing that my parents are declining and there's nothing I can do about it. When I listen to my sister talk about her problems, I can't help but feel angry, knowing I went through the same thing. Knowing all I can do is offer support and get her help. Sometimes though, I get angry that she's getting help. I'm not angry at her, of course I'm not. It's not her fault her mind treats her like this. I get angry because I wanted help like this. I got it a couple of years ago, but I almost feel like my childhood self is still here, crying and alone. I feel bad that I will never be able to go back in time and tell myself we'll be okay. It'll be a hell of a storm, but we'll manage. Parts of us will be smashed, broken into pieces and thrown away, but we'll put it back together. It takes time, and it hurts, but we'll be okay eventually. One day, she and I will be okay. We'll have to deal with our mind still, but we'll be better. We will never be fixed, there's no fixing what has been broken, but we can heal. Some days are much harder than the others, and I have many regrets and things I wish I could change, but I'm doing my best with what I have. I try to remember the good days from when I was young. Thinking back, my family struggled all throughout my childhood, but it wasn't noticeable until around 7 years ago. My family is good at pretending. If we can't pretend, than we are nothing. Some days, I wish we could go back to pretending. Pretending everything is okay, that we are the perfect model family, but our masks have broken. Sometimes I get upset thinking about the mask we used to wear, but honestly, I don't think any of us could have begun healing without it breaking. The truth is that we aren't perfect. None of us are and that's just something we need to learn to deal with. To be okay with. It's part of being a human, We will all make mistakes, have regrets and fears. We can't go back in time, not yet at least. Maybe one day, but not today. Cherish everyday like it's your last. Love those around you and never go to bed angry. You never know when you may lose someone.Take care of yourself and your body, it's the only one you have. Keep looking up. It'll get better one day. I can't tell you when, and I can't tell you how, but one day. Just keep looking for that one day. And so, I leave you with the end part of Minecraft's poem. The whole poem is amazing, but this part always hit me the hardest "and the universe said I love you and the universe said you have played the game well and the universe said everything you need is within you and the universe said you are stronger than you know and the universe said you are the daylight and the universe said you are the night and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you and the universe said the light you seek is within you and the universe said you are not alone and the universe said you are not separate from every other thing and the universe said you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code and the universe said I love you because you are love. And the game was over and the player woke up from the dream. And the player began a new dream. And the player dreamed again, dreamed better. And the player was the universe. And the player was love."

I am 18 now.I used to play with my best friend on split screen on his Xbox 360. It was always so fun. Sadly one day we stopped talking and he moved I've never heard of him again. I miss him and the time we used to spend together.Maybe life wouldn't have been so lonely for me if he never left. It's been almost 10years. Are you okay and what are you doing,I sometimes ask myself. I miss you dear friend I will always cherish these moments
