Me too. I couldn't help but notice how the show started out goofy all the time and evolved almost into a entirely different show but with the same premise and actors. I just loved that it was very well done and how seamless it was going from silly all the time to more serious but still funny. Also, I've never seen an open set before. Is this a British thing because I don't think American sets are so welcoming of spectators?

God there are fans everywhere, the actors are practically tripping over people. As a fan it's nice that they have an open set like that and let people watch but at the same time I kind of feel bad for the actors, it must get tiresome to have people in your face with cameras and asking for autographs every day of filming.

Certainly shows their fortitude, politeness and concentration to be able to work in all that, get the episodes down AND not tell people to please back off, even a little. The poor crew musn't have it easy either, trying to keep people away from delicate and expensive equipment!

Wow!! The Merlin cast and crew have to be a special set of people. To allow the distubance of fans, along with their kids, up and down, and around the set, through every crack and cranny is UNTHINKABLE! How do they stay in character and remember their lines, and not trip up? I so toally love and appreciate these vids, but dang, I gotta say I feel for the actors so badly. I love them and don't wanna see them frustrated and beaten down with all the attention the fans can give. Whew! Wow!

Colin Morgan appears very striking even as a normal person. It's as if you can't help but notice him like some sort of affinity... I don't know what to call it.. Also he has a much better walk than Bradley's weird duck waddle... And how nice of him to stop and sign autographs while remaining pleasant and courteous... He's a great talent endeared with kindness. Go Colin!

Morgana is the first tv series villain I actually rooted for and applauded... 50% because I love her character, 50% because she's played by Katie Mcgrath.

These fans are everywhere some of them make personal comments as the actors walk past and are very pushy about getting photos taken with the actors, if the actors stopped to have their photo taken with one fan then they would bee surrounded and never finish filming. I think Bradley said in an interview if you sign an autograph they are come towards you like one of those zombie films.

I totally agree it must make them feel very self concious as well, there is fans everywhere I did see on a comment somewhere that while they are filming the fans are actually well beheaved, but the main cast actors cant go anywhere with out an escourt other wise they get surrounded, which must be a bit intimidating for them, even though the fans mean well.

It's nice how they just let people stand around and watch the filming and the actors go by, apparently without even putting up barriers. So trusting. Would never happen here in the UK. But then the people are behaving themselves, not screaming and calling out the actors names, not spoiling the takes or giving them any reason not to trust them.

Out of all the actors only colin morgan was polite. I have seen him interacting with his fans so nicely even if it makes him uncomfortable.

I'd go crazy with all these extra people watching me while I have to perform certain emotions, dialogue and choreography. Also after a long day of filming people are still watching and filming you, some even asking for autographs, while you are super tired and just want to get back to the hotel. Your every move being watched must be exhausting and I understand why almost all film sets are shut off

I feel so bad for the actors... Fortunately, the people filming held themselves back when they saw Colin Morgan was already hunted down. I'm ashamed at my compatriots. No decency and no respect for the work of these actors. The job is already exhausting, but they just make it frustrating... set is open because Pierrefonds is a national monument and every national monument must be open for the tourists :)
