The Heavy Stomp is slept on for ankle biter control. It is a fast way to get your shields back. When swarmed by ankle biters: 1. Stomp, gunstrike 2. Stomp Gunstrike 3. Stomp, gunstrike 4. Profit from now having full shields and no ankle biters to be found.

Having a good heavy in a team is like having a good sniper, the difficulty feels like a tier lower. At first glance i thought this class will struggle without a solide team as he's lacking melee, but you don't need melee... In fact you don't really need a team you need distractions to get some breathing room Overlooked class, very enjoyable

I’m new with heavy. I really enjoy assault,bulwark, and tac but been trying heavy lately and enjoying it. I see people say melta or plasma? Depends right? But something about bolter mowing things down is so much fun.

on a solo run heavy with relic multimelta i have achieved 1000 kills and 50000 damage on lethal. it was hell though, the ai director went hard that mission.

heavy is amazing...but tactical? insta kill majoris + extremis as well as 300% dmg on everything scanned? Stupid OP. Tactical + Heavy + Bullwark is ez mode. If you take melters, you can even stagger AND dodge. I tried heavy bolter and it just sucks IMHO, you could have killed the entire horde at 4:55 with just one or two shots of a melter ^^

Multi meta is good but it weakens heavy's ranged damage. It's great paired with like tactical and sniper. But when you spawn into a game with a bulwark and assault... it's not the most fun thing in the world against most bosses. The heavy bolter is great to but.... it's hard to tear me away from the plasma gun

@@unusualbydefault I fought 2 neuros and a zoanthrope simultaneously 2 days ago(just ruthless). I had a bulwark and assault teammate, needless to say any enthusiasm I had for the multimelta died in that moment

@@aratay3117 hahaha fair enough. I usually expect defeat if there's no tac in the team on ruthless/lethal, at least with randos. One-shotting majoris/extremis is stupid OP
