Heavy duty spring pole (diy project all done)

For those who love to build things yourselves here’s an idea on how to build a good sturdy spring pole for your dog/dogs simple and inexpensive
Materials needed..
1 10ft 4x4 post
1 12ft 4x4 post
1 4x4 post anchor
2 1/2x4-1/2 hex bolts
4 1/2in cut washers
2 1/2in lock nuts

Nice , yes I did I used about three 50lb bags of quikrete concrete mix , dug the hole 4ft so 8ft above ground 4ft under that should hold it in place

Looks good... what is the length of the 4x4 and how deep did you put it under the ground?

Post is 10’ , 3’ in the ground

Does it shake with time it does. But it’s stable and moneywise it’s worth it. This set up was built five years and still standing.

Thanks man the measurements for the top horizontal post is 4’ in length a foot hanging off the back and the 45 degree angle is 3’

You can find them anywhere really ace hardware Menards Home Depot i recommend a garage door spring those work best in my opinion
