It depends on the dog. A single spring is good for a 100lb dog but it won't last for ever. With one spring they have more range of motion than two. I start with one and as they get stronger I put a second one. It is great for building muscle and toning.

Start off with playing tug war by hand then over time they get the idea of "tugging"

Can I make one for my 5 and 6 month old border collie and border collie lab mix for exercise? They won’t get up to 100 lbs even together. My puppies are about 24 and 33 lbs right now and they need something different for exercise lol. They have tons of energy! Can you show a video of how you hang it? And how far off the ground do you hang it? My dogs don’t need it to build strength, just for fun. Thank you! And yes the names of the materials would be helpful.

fozz911 at your local fire hall they should have old fire hose
