I have been down this road all my life and all they do is grade it, I guess there aren't enough people down it to justify paving it. thanks for watching.

It cost to much to pave and surely use concrete. All the materials has to be trucked in for several hundred miles and to pave all the road for a a large county with a population of only 70k of which half live on the east side near the ocean not cost effective. The dirt roads normally hold up unless a lot of log trucks or a drought comes in. I live in the county, this is how it’s been done for years, and works good. You work with what you have.

funny thing is, they pull the dirt out of the ditch right before the rain... that is a mess and it washes right back in the ditch. I would rather have them smooth it out after the rain. Thanks for watching.

It’s Nth Florida, all the roads are sand. There is no rock for miles, and very little good clay. They work with what they have.
