There's going to be a lot of tough calls this year on farms/ranches due to fuel, fertilizer, feed prices not to mention the drought and economy. I honestly think the price of beef and all other food is going to get a lot higher but it's hard on the pocket to have to feed because there's no rangeland because of the drought. Since fertilizer is so expensive you might be able to trade that manure pile straight across for some hay 😉. Hope everything works out for all the families that put food on all our families tables.

My wife and I love watching your videos. We farm in Mississippi. I run about 200 cows plus raise contract broilers and have a commercial beekeeping operation. So i can relate to their always being something that needs to be done. It amazes me that cows find enough to eat out in that desert. Hope you get rain soon. We have been getting more than we need last year. If trucking Wasn’t so expensive you could get plenty hay here for $60 ton. Crazy that it’s $300 there. Good luck. The Thompsons
