When I was a teenager we had a Quarter mare we called Sonny. Registered name Sonora Del Leo. She was by John Leo by Leo. After all of us kids left home, Dad sold the horses.

My fav time of year for Painted Desert videos! New crop of jheart foals! Would love to hear your JHeart wisdom on range vs stall foaling. JHeart seems to have little or no foaling issues, just lots of beautiful healthy babies. In contrast, other channels’ videos of stall foaling seem to have a lot that require human intervention to save the foal and sometimes the mare as well. I’m sure there are advantages and disadvantages of each, but question if even the most capable human can do better than Mother Nature. Just my two cents from the cheap seat. Would love to hear the thoughts of from the JHeart team as well as other viewers.

Hello PDR what is the average length I should have for my reins weather they are split reins or roping reins? Does Danielle plan on going to the Barrel Racing event in Northern Utah this year like she did last year? The horses look good and healthy. Do you guys ever deworm your horses and give them shots? Do you also or have you ever give them supplements? I'm glad I found you guys on You Tube. Sunny is a good Ranch Horse that Cowboy Horseman Henson is riding. Did you guys raise Sunny?
