Heavy Indonesian Breakfast: Mie Ayam & Bubur Ayam INDONESIAN STREET FOOD

Mie Ayam & Bubur Ayam are 2 Indonesian breakfast which are very easy to find everywhere in Jakarta.
At first I tried the Mie Ayam (Chicken Noodles) which are very tasty a bit salty and with a spicy sambal. For 12.000 IDR we also got a glas of tea with it.
The second indonesian breakfast I enjoyed was also an Indonesian street food called Bubur Ayam (Chicken Porridge). The bubur ayam was quite sweet but tasty when mixed up with Sambal. Which one is your favorite?

If I were still my old self i probably could relate. I used to have heavy meals for breakfast but now I don't think my stomach is able to do that. But yes Most Indonesians eat heavy meals in the morning even some of us eat this type of food after morning workouts. Nice video

The good thing about bubur is actually the fact that you can order the bubur to your preference. I usually ask not to put alot of the sweet soy. Instead i would ask for extra chicken stock. Add alot of peanut sambel(though not all bubur vendor have this type of sambel). Eat my bowl of bubur with one or two intestines sate. There you go, one of my favorite breakfast. Darn you eyke. Now im salivating..
