If you want to balance them, you have to make solid AP unrealistic, or make APHE realistic. I’m voting for more realism, not less

high speed capped AP is actually good. the issu is with uncapped AP, or AP with caps that has low speed. for example most US 90mm guns and every 75/76mm use uncapped AP as stock and they are unplayable in that state. similar goes for the 17pdr when it is stock. but when you get the APC shell then it becomes good, especially when you get the final APCBC. however, APCBC becomes bad when it is low speed. british 75mm using US M61 without filler is a good example. that gun is somewhat usable on the cromwell, but outright useless on the churchill 7. also there is a single uncapped AP that is good. it is on the churchill gun carrier, because for the BR it has high pen and high speed

Britain suffers? Come on man. They have some of the best AP rounds around. Same goes for France. I don't have problems with AP on those tanks like at all? They obliberate enemy tanks if you know where to shoot. American, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, USSR - well, those are shit tier uncapped AP rounds which absolutely do nothing even when you hit ammo with them.

Make sure you don't have any bushes covering your gunners sight check how much you have to offset for parallax in test drive first Vehicles with a laser rangefinder don't have to adjust for parallax if you've pressed R. If someone has clicked on the map around your position press T-4-1 to let your team know your position

Well as it is currently it's armor is wrong. It's missing 20-25mm across the entire front hull and turret sides and the mantlet is missing something like 50mm. However, the bug report detailing all the inaccuracies has been recently acknowledged.

Best way to play this tank is to play it like a sherman 76 that has a reverse gear. It's pretty good at dueling over defilades by shooting and scooting back into cover, and its depression is pretty solid for the caliber. But yes.... It is not a real heavy tank.

I believe I remember a time when the m6 was 4.7. Now the same armor, which was already very easily countered at that reduced BR, must face far more intimidating opponents. Of course tactics > armor when it comes to playing the game correctly, but it's cast, it has weak corners on its frontal armor arrangement, it just isnt survivable. Not to mention it basically having the pershing turret ammo storage but with no way of defending it whereas the pershing at least has a somewhat trolly volumetric region around it. Starting off with solid shot is just adding insult to injury. I will be more impressed with this vehicle when it goes down to 5.3, and I do believe it will go down. Perhaps I am too hopeful. Basically, if they were going to add a heavy tank it should play like one. Or else just add a light tank and stop pretending. Thats what the vehicle classes are there for.

7:12 I dont know if you know but if you grab the tank wreck with your wnech it kinda puts it in neutral and I find it easier to push them. Frankly I thought you would love it, but I guess it's not to everyones taste
