Thanks man, Yes. Heavy Load was my favourite Swedish metal band alongside Candlemass. Ragne is a legend and the scene lost it's brightest shining star. RIP Ragne.

When I saw the news of Ragne’s passing, I was in a state of shock for a whole day. I’ve been a fan of Heavy Load for quite some time and his music would always make me feel better, but now the world will be such a different place without him. Rest in Peace Ragne

I discovered Heavy Load with Metal Conquest and was a huge HL fan in the 80s (member #155 of their official fan club). One aspect that I think is a bit overlooked these days, when they brought in Eddy he wasn't just a guitar player but also a singer -- and a songwriter, with a slightly different style from the Wahlquist brothers. Their 80s releases always had Ragne/Styrbjörn songs, and Eddy songs. It gave the band a musical span that many other bands just didn't have.
