Heavy Metal Summer -- RECOVERY

Sorry -- Been away from the videos for awhile.
Praise God surgery went pretty well and recovery is taking place.
I'm finally able to spend a little time on the computer and do some editing.
Wasn't expecting such a hiatus from the computer -- sitting is a real problem after this bilaterial hip replacement . When I could finally spend time here and there on the computer I had lots of my regular paid work to catch up on. So now I'm finally about caught up and can do a little non-paid computer activity like editing video -- cool.
So I guess now I'm twice as 'hip' as before with precious metals -- titanium.
Recovery surprised me -- I've not had any major surgeries before and there was a great deal I was ignorant about. The narcotics in the hospital didn't help - they caused my blood pressure to intermittently crash to less than 1/2 normal levels. Stopped them a couple days after getting home. But the surgery really drained my energy. Before going in I'd been working frantically in the garden hand digging over 200 feet of trenches and preparing everything else I could think of here. So went in to the hospital in good shape.
Surprised me that I seemed weak as a kitten upon getting home. Even being out of bed for more than 30 minutes was taxing. That took about a week to get past.
Looking forward now to processing all those videos I cut before the surgery - rushing to get so many things accomplished.
Mrs. RH has been waiting on me hand and foot - - or more accurately, foot, knee and hip. Anyway I've kept her hopping with all my needs and watering/harvesting the garden. She's been so very good keeping things rolling at the house, with my care, with the gardens, as well as she's had a huge surge in her ministry activities to deal with. She's a real jewel !!
