Tech Stuff:
I do not use AI to generate any part of my scenes, in whole or in part. My scenes are made using Unreal Engine and edited in Davinci Resolve, After Effects or Premiere, and my scenes are made by a real person, the only shortcuts I take are Kitbashing, and I usually (but not always) use Kitbash 3D and Big Medium and Small kits for this, otherwise I make the models myself. Many many days of work go into each video that I make, sometimes weeks or months, this was made and rendered in Unreal Engine 5 using my own game industry experience and professional knowledge. My audio is mostly recorded using a MixPre 6 II and EM272 Stereo mics.

Excellent as always. Now, I want the Blade Runner game. Could you please share the bitrate of the file that you upload to KZbin? I’m just curious about the format and bitrate of the file that you upload here. HDR will make them even more awesome

I have been looking into a HDR version of this since I uploaded it, this SDR version certainly looses detail compared to my original Unreal scene, which can be quite upsetting after spending such a long time on it. This incidentally is H265 at a bitrate of 50 at 24FPS, going above 60 pushes the file size over the YT file size limit, which I am sure is more than enough information for YT compression, but it destroys the rain, my final render on my PC looks fine, but here in YT, it’s totally crushed, I’ve uploaded many videos with a lower bitrate and they looked very nice, but I feel that in recent months videos feel more ‘crushed’ than in the last few years. But working in HDR drives me crazy, it’s soo awkward to work in, especially when I also use the ACES colour workflow, the results seem to vary drastically depending on what HDR settings used, sometimes it looks ‘ok’ but not really that much better, but then it can also at times terrible! That and the fact that I find working in HDR like walking through mud, it’s just so cumbersome and slow to render. And seeing as though HDR is not that widely used or cared about, I’m not sure it’s worth the time spent on it, but we shall see. As with everything I make, I am constantly striving to better and better quality, it’s an ongoing process.

Thank you, yes I have tried making HDR renders, but something I’ve noticed is that Premiere doesn’t allow using the GPU when rendering HDR footage, which for an 8 hour takes literally days on my PC. So if I shorten the length of the video then it is doable, I am just not sure if putting out an HDR video that is just and hour or two would be what people want? Over an 8 hour non HDR video.

@@kotturb5 Just an FYI, I have made and uploaded an HDR version that is 2 hours long, KZbin hasn't finished converting it yet, once it's ready I'll make it live, there's not much difference in it visually, but that might have more to do with the fact that it was rendered as a 10bit DPX rather than 12 or 16bit render, I think 10bit is the lowest for HDR 👍

Robots help us give insights on massive amounts of bytes of information and help do everything for us time travel becomes real and you can become a video game avatar in real life thanks to hyper-reality manipulating your nervous system feeling the avatar instead of your physical body money is obsolete and is all dictated by robots making everything so freakishly cheap nobody has to suffer and everybody wins supernatural powers exist teleportation is a thing by opening up portals you can claim to be whatever age you want in the future human society has already made peace with Extraterrestrial civilizations space farming will be a thing in the future and everyone is nothing but satisfied would you live in this kind of reality?

Thank you 🙏 When I first started making the city views, I completely randomised the animations, it looked great but it is impossible to make it loop seemlessly unless the movement has determinism to it. I can just crossfade the loop but it won’t look very nice 👍 This requires a lot of non random movements as this contains 5 different renders put together and they all had to match 👍
