Morning all hope we are all high and dry in North QLD. Check out this mornings text update on Facebook here: facebook.com/share/p/1GJai4H2Sw/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Thanks for the updates Josh. You seem to be so much better at telling us what’s actually going to happen than the BOM or our local council here in Townsville! Virtually no info at all from them until the system began to show itself yesterday. Kids were stuck in schools because roads were flooded and parents were struggling to pick them up. And even this morning, people have been saying that it won’t be anywhere near as bad as 2019 (which was awful!) The Ross River Dam is currently at 113% and rising, and the Townsville Disaster Group have just sent out a text message saying residents of Idalia, Oonoonba, Hermit Park, Rosslea, Railway Estate and Cluden should prepare to evacuate with ‘dangerous flooding expected in the next 24 hours’.

ya it's crazy eh. How do people evacuate at such a late stage! To where? How!

Hi Josh, we are in Mission Beach just above Tully. Just wanted to thankyou for your accurate report yesterday that our area would receive the brunt of the rain. We are used to LOTS of rain but really helped us plan and prepare. So sitting inside now with all the jobs done watching the rain bucketing down and listening to the frogs. Cheers.

I think the rain around Mackay has been underestimated. It is intense here at the moment.
@WayneSquires7 күн бұрын
Hi Josh, Thanks for your service. We have hit the 600ml mark here in Forrest Beach for the week this morning. It looks like we may double that by tomorrow arvo. Intense here at the minute.

Thank you for your updates. Im in Townsville and there has been no help from our council at all. No sandbags and No mainstream media coverage up here. The evacuation centre only opened yeterday and it was already too late for some people to leave. So thank you for your help and advice.

Funny . . they are mixing that cocaine with ketamine apparently , the neighbor across road told me a Mars mass party of govt 'workers' got sick due to the ketamine in their coke , baking soda & cocaine fried in pan = crack I read in a book . . had a meth head tweeker knock on door couple days back looking supposedly for a cat . . looking for stuff to steal , told him go for it look in back yard . . came back wanting to buy this & that in back yard that will probably go missing in coming weeks
