A 1 Hour 4K Walking Tour of Dublin City, Ireland Filmed on a Morning of Heavy Snow in March 2024.
On the 1st March 2024 the people of Dublin woke up to an unexpected sight. Snow had begun to fall in the early hours of the morning and it became heavy and persistent as the day went on on. This video was filmed in Terenure just after 9am and begins in the beautiful and snow covered Bushy Park. Please enjoy the walk and don't forget to give the video a thumbs up.

👋Hello there Peter, Wow! So very beautiful is Dublin covered in snow. When I saw this a few minutes ago, I literally shed tears of joy, as it all loo0ks so beautiful & actually, so very magical. I can recall numerous Irish people (nearest & dearest to me) over prior decades telling me, that they remember the snowfalls in Dublin albeit more so rare. Sometimes the snowfall was heavy too. Someone older once shared with me within a Melbourne pub that I used to work in, that back in the 60s, all of Ireland received much snow. The entire country was literally blanketed in heavy snowfall. We were just there this Winter (Jan 2024) but unfortunately we didn't get to see the snow in Dublin. We did hear however, just prior to our departure around late Jan, that snow was expected, but it didn't happen. On the contrary, we received numerous days of lovely sunshine & the temps were very nice. We were very warm & even outside. The sunshine was so lovely, but once evening came, the outdoor temps dropped & it did feel more chilly. Prior to Ireland, we'd spent many weeks in Scandinavia & over there it was truly chilly & snowy & I have to say, that the chill of Oslo is really something else lol, especially when you are flying over from Australia during the Summer months. I had never seen so much snow & gosh did we love it & I had such fun taking photos, filming, walking in it, running in it, falling over in it & LMHO multiple times & I'd happily do it all over again! Dear Peter! Although the snow was slushy and the sky gray, I still enjoyed the walk in Terenur, which is dear to me. I love watching the snow fall from the sky in big flakes and cover everything like a blanket. I hope your hands warmed up quickly. Thanks for the experience as always.

Hi Peter Happy Monday! wowowwo you gave us a surprise! I did not even know Dublin's winter weather...no snow... So Dublin residents' jaws must have dropped by this snow. Wet snow...The winter is greedy....still hanging tight... the we appreciate when cherry blossom flowers start bloom. It will be gorgeous along the street/road But for now, I just enjoy the trees covered with snow I just enjoy the white blanket over the ground... Hide gems from us... I wouldn't go out when it's snowing I'd stay at home in the heat i don't like the snow as i fell twice before year's ago in the snow and i hurt my back and I've got arthritis in my back and shoulders and the cold weather doesn't help my arthritis
