Hello there, I'm a Malaysian 35 years of age, I could see there are lot of buses at every parts in the Indian states, India. But in my country of West Malaysia, before the year of 2000s, there are no more local town passenger buses. Because now in Malaysia all the people having their own cars, even the workers with a salary of RM 450/- only per month, or 2,268 rupees, are using its own car throughout Malaysia.

Like You did not even try factoring in the population stat of a country like India vs Malaysia. Theres a lot more public cars in major urban regions of the country but transport services is always at a top ratio. Sorely because the major population include people who can only afford to ride in buses or trains.
