Vanilla Skyrim has bad graphics, dull quests and NPCs, bad combat bad stealth and so, so many bugs and other issues. I've spent 100s of hours in Skyrim, modders have made it excellent and it's one of my favourite games. Just be prepared to wait a decade before ES6 gets really good.

I don't think it's an issue of "if", but more of they have killed it. They won't even give us any info after all these years. I'm through wasting my time waiting on their empty promises. To me they rate up there with Acti-Blizz and how they destroyed a solid mmo and screwed players. Modders hold and show the passion to push Skyrim further and further.

@nooooo but most mods are safe no,if they are not the authors are often kind enough to say that it isn't in the description. Besides most of the mods I add are creature or weapon mods all of which are more often than not safe to add mid playthrough. All of mikhails mod I added mid playthrough and I've yet to run into a problem,besides it certainly beats obsessing over ones load order instead actually playing the game I swear some people are too autistic for their own good smh😪. I really hope we see AI used to vastly expand NPC dialogue and interactions to be on par with Morrowind, where your characters deeds, race, factions and maybe even background and abilities has a strong impact on how you interact with the world, except 100% voiced. It’s already being used in some mods and while not perfect, if far more flexible then the splice method that’s restricted modders from expanding existing characters and quests for so long.

Another great vid highlighting the talented modders that keep this game alive. As our friendly Riften Dumer says "Thank you. I really appreciate all you've done for me." Really like the look of Eldenroot. Personally, all the vampire mods (including warebeast and zombie) are just too much crossover. You know, sometimes less is more. So I'll stick to those interesting expansions of men, mer and environment. Though it's good to see wonderfully designed mods for those that want vampires, etc. They are in the game afterall, so whatever floats your boat, right?

Book of Creed by Monitor144hz. Its Patreon sub at the moment but when paired with all the sneak/ai/crime mods, master of disguise and using them with Paraglider, it essentially ports all mechanics from basically every Assassin's Creed game to Skyrim as Book of Creed finally adds AC style Assassinations! Now we just need mountain climbing for normal, Conan Exiles/Tomb Raider style climbing and also has Prince of Persia/AC style parkour built in. After that modding Skyrim pretty much done.

Hey, great contents but I'd really suggest to improve your reading skills. In particular, the tone and rhythm. The way how you read is monotone, the cadence and rhythm are extremely repetitive, causing fatigue to the listener. For example, if you pay attention and listen to how you conclude each of your phrases, cut the last three words and alilgn them all one after another in your editirial session, you hear the exact same notes, rhythm and accents in each one of them. That will help you understand how much that could even unconsciously annoy the viewer. Again, your video are astonishing beautiful. Especially the video editing and music, I also appreciate those whooshes and some other sfx. I'd just work on your reading skills that need to improve in quality, making sure that you reading varies in cadence, rhythm and tone. Also, add frequent pauses when you read! They really missing here and much needed. You can even hire a narrator, that would definitely improve your videos and your channel. Great work overall. Hope that helps.

I have to correct you on this @Heavy Burns but you said accurately reflect when it came to the Elven Ears for Breton NPCs. Sorry but there is nothing in the lore books of any Elder Scrolls Game that states that Bretons have such ears. No TES game has ever shown this as well. That means that Bretons are represented correctly until Bethesda states otherwise. Its wrong to use such phrases as accurately reflects when it in fact does not. Its a FAN interpretation of what they think and that is the more accurate phrase to use. Just because games like Dungeons and Dragons for example since they started this whole RPG genre in the USA and Europe to begin with, make Half-Elves with shorter slightly pointed elven ears to reflect their half elf blood line doesn't mean it will be the same in ever fantasy world setting nor does it have to. Bethesda's Elder Scrolls world has many things similar to D&D while also being very different as well. For example in TES we have no real Dwarves, our Dwarves are really the Dwemer which are just different Elves. The Bretons are more human in appearance but have instead some magical resistance and are slightly better at magic then their other human counterparts and that is just fine for me. I'm not saying folks shouldn't use this mod, we are all free to interpret the game as we like in our play throughs, its what mods are for. I just didn't care for the "accurately reflects" phrase when I know my TES lore well and visit UESP often enough to remind myself on things when I got the free time. Also that mod in question can cause some minor compatibility issues with other companion overhaul mods as stated on the mod page under the compatibility section -> "This mod can be used with other NPC mods as well, I use it with Bijin AIO and Dibella's Blessing, but manual patching might be required for best consistency. (I had to disable the ears for 2 NPCs that were edited by Dibella's Blessing.)".
@Blackread

I don't think bretons having pointy ears is strictly lore friendly. To my knowledge the elven ancestry is so diluted that bretons don't have any physical elvish traits anymore. There's nothing wrong with the mod itself, but calling it lore friendly is a bit misleading.

There’s a book in Skyrim about Bretons that says their elven features have not vanished, and UESP states that they can have pointed ears.
@Patch2112
@Patch2112 Жыл бұрын
Depends on the lore that you’re looking at. Older lore describes Bretons as far closer to Mer, having long spindly limbs and ethereal features. Google “Oblivion Breton Art” to see an example. In reality it’s probably a varying scale. Some Bretons have elf ears, some have human ears
@Blackread
@Blackread Жыл бұрын
@@grymmoire The reference in UESP for bretons having pointy ears is them being available for bretons in the ESO character creation. ESO happens in the second age some thousand years before Skyrim. I assume the book you are referring to is "Modern Day Bretons: Man or Mer?". It says the following: "Elven physical features such as pointed ears, angled faces, slender bodies, and distinctive eyes gradually faded." It also says that Bretons were only allowed to have children with humans, so it stands to reason that the elven physical traits have further faded from the time of ESO. Of course much of the Elder Scrolls lore is up for debate and Bethesda retcons stuff all the time. But based on these sources my conclusion would be that according to the lore the vast majority of bretons don't have pointy ears.
