I have been waiting SO LONG for Metalfoe support. They were the last deck I ever used a few years back, and even better - got to hear you analyze them. I completely agree with you, except that as a main Metalfoe player, I will say they are a step above fine - they are exactly what the deck needs. I can already picture a bunch of new combos with tuner monsters and fire kings.... omg this is gonna be GREAAAAT!!!

Dinomists have recovery from ED, also trap that set a couple of pendulum cards just to Start pendulum summon. The thing is that pendulums still frozen at master rule 4. Limited to extra zone if special summoned from extradeck

Zefra doesn't need any while halqifibrax exists, that thing's better than any archetype specific support would ever be for them & they already have everything they need with searchability & disruption, Zefraath working would be cool but double pendulum summon isn't actually needed at all, they'd only need support if/when halq got banned, igknights just got a bunch of fire warrior support from ignoble & co. on top of having access to isolde & wise strix, they don't need any either, besides their playstyle is pretty obnoxious, any time in the last 4 years they've done anything it's been a lockdown or ftk & they even get Another ftk when the charmer structure deck comes out too, magispecter also doesn't really need any, charmer link 2, selene link 3, witchcrafter aruru all help out the more pure deck, & the engine still turns up in the magician mess sometimes, Dinomist Do need support, but even then they do still have qlifort genius for more plus & easier Toad & CDI with MR5, they just need a spell/trap searcher really for the core to be more viable.

This is a case of support where the cards initially seem not very good but then you have to think about their applications in metalfoes. even using amalgam as an equip in metalfoes is decent because it gives you a card to pop for your scales that doesn't have to be another scale OR monster on the field. Day 184 of waiting for Vendread support.

Depends on the deck tbh. Dragostapelia is a great, generic super poly target, but the negate only works on monsters with a level, and it also targets. Destruction effs are always reliable vs the majority of decks.

So I've been playtesting metalfoes, Vanisher + Mithrillium creates a kind of loop to get two level 9 monsters which is really nice, ending in the boi himself, True King of All Calamities and allowing you to banish a card, given that you use your Metalfoes Fusion and Parametalfoes Fusion efficiently. Azothles is alright, but I find Vanisher and mithrillium to be much better overall since they are so easy to spam ( and triggers by being summoned by its own effect, mithrillium's effect, AND counter AND BANISHES FROM FIELD OR GRAVE) I have found that electrumite is really not required, as the deck recovers from wipes without him. He does of course provide a lot of utility, but in terms of being required, nah. I can see the deck being high rogue tier with the new support and with electrumite, tier 2 at the very least. Plenty of non-negation disruption which is very healthy for the game.

To those who keep saying Pendulum decks(like Odd Eyes) don't need their own Link monster due to Electrumite existing(being greatly generic for them and big), Metalfoes decided to put their foot down at an issue one of their own had caused and decided to shut that down by getting another Link monster. Like if Metalfoes gets ANOTHER Link monster despite Electrumite already existing(and its already their own Link monster in-theme), then Pendulum decks are still allowed to get their own Link monster. Like even if powerful generic Links for Pendulums like Electrumite exists, those Pendulum decks still need their own IN THEME Links since those can help out their respective Pendulum deck in-theme and expand their strategy further.
