Good morning, Very interested in purchasing the Heavocity Novo. I came across your channel for the demonstration. An excellent video, thanks for sharing. I am discovering other videos and I must say that you have very interesting content, excellent even. Can you tell me what keyboard you use and also what module is on the left next to your computer keyboard and on the right next to the faderport? I thank you in advance. Thank you, very happy you're enjoying the content! 💪🏻 I'm using a Doepfer PK88 keyboard. The module is an ATEMP MC1, which is a mod/pitch wheel controller with midi ins and outs via USB. The thing on the right is an Eventide Mixing Link mic pre, which I use also to mute my voice when needed.

Do you prefer Symphonic Destruction over this library?

They are very different things. But overall, subjectively, yes I’d rank SD higher. They are both brilliant however! Thanks for watching 💪🏻

For me this library is not that amazing, compared to Vento and Forzo. Novo was first from them and unfortunately its lacking many articulations in traditional section. All other have too much "Heavyocity" flavour with all sound design being too agressive and over the top. Some presets sounds great, but I found Forzo and Vento to be overall better and more flexible.

Interesting, I find them all to uphold pretty much the same quality and offering all across the board. You can always dial things back in the engine if the FX are too much for your taste.
