​@@harryrissik3310 It's amazing, I've listened to it countless times. It was out a coupe of days last summer after CDWA sent it live, I remember blasting it on the highest volume at repeat. My neighbours got a little upset, and I live in a villa. Can't imagine what it would be live if i lived in an apartment haha.

This is, literally, THE most perfectly splendid live show that has happened in the last several decades! This can easily be catalogued right up there with Floyd's "Live at Pompeii" with regard to it's atmosphere, stellar sound/harmonics, and the songs/songwriting itself. Listening to this is like being in a waking dream of atmospheric, stellar beauty. XO

Often times with old 80’s/90’s bands in the Stoner/Desert genre, I feel that they run their course over the decades/years and eventually start to suck or become boring. Yawning Man is special because they’ve never lost it. They’ve changed, however I’ve never seen a live show or heard a new record from them and thought “this is boring”.

this band, this entire concept of playing live in the desert, this whole album (plus others) and song have /absolutely/ fucked me up in the best way possible. once in a while you find music that completely resonates with your energy and during one of the lowest points in my life i was fortunate enough to see them play live, right in front of me. i left with my soul feeling so unbelievably nourished. i had found myself again in a midst of uncertainty and self-doubt and i can not express how much that meant to me. i love you Yawning Man.

Yawning Man is in the same scene. Afaik Alfredo Hernandez was in it before he joined Kyuss. Also, I noticed both use trippy delay feedback thing. (Kyuss does it most notably on Asteroid & Gardenia's interlude)
