Alright so Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania has had its world premiere, along with several press showings, and because of this, a handful of new details about the film have leaked out. This includes Jonathan Major’s Kang, but more specifically the film’s rumored post credit scenes, yes there’s two babay so don’t leave that theater.
So in this video we’re going to be breaking down what apparently happens in these two scenes. Obviously Heavy Spoilers are in full force for this one, and take everything with a pinch of salt. But with these coming straight from the premiere, it sounds like they are fairly reliable.
So the movie apparently ends with Ant-Man, Wasp, Cassie, and the others defeating Johnathan Major’s Kang and returning back to Earth 616 after spending almost the entire movie in the Quantum realm. In doing so, they think the threat of Kang is now done and over with.
However the first post credits scene is rumored to showcase 3 different Kang variants having a discussion about the events that just transpired. The variants in question are supposed to be Immortus, Rama-Tut, and a more robotic looking version of Scarlet Centurion. These are three of the most powerful versions of Nathaniel Richards, aka Kang, similar to Kang the Conqueror who was just defeated.
The three have a conversation, starting with one asking “Is he dead? Are you sure he died?” Referring back to the Kang that they had exiled away in the Quantum realm. This cautious rumor mill continues with one saying he wouldn’t have called them there if it wasn’t true. Another one butts in taunting that it must be “uncomfortable for you, he didn’t kill him.” But it’s soon realized neither of the three were behind Kang’s death, but rather it’s stated “It’s them.” Hinting at Ant-man and potentially the other avengers.

I hope your take is accurate. i hope we get more than mere mentions and end credit teases of the Kang variants. I hope it's a "dynasty" of big bads. I remember Smallville Season 5 having big implications for its show with Lex going dark, Clark and Lois teaming up against a corrupt diplomat, and Brainiac's machinations, and the introduction of Phantom Zod. I hope Kang brings as much unending chaos and that we can look back to see that single plots, story threads, and plot points have big and lasting impacts on the MCU just like what I saw in Smallville Season 5. They keep calling Kang The Conqueror as "The Conqueror." He Who Remains talks about sharing ideas and technologies to improve each other; every time I think of that, I'm reminded of Stargate SG1 and their multiverse episodes and how that's EXACTLY what we saw. We saw our universe help the others with contacting the Asgardians and sharing solutions to the Ori and cures to diseases. I really hope that we see what makes Kang such a conqueror. All of his machinations; his tactics, his army, his weapons, his ability to be persuasive, his weapons of mass destruction, weapons of intergalactic destruction (maybe the M'Kraan Krystal), his weapons of time destruction. I also want to see what the Council of Kangs offered in terms of benefits to each others time lines as "issues" came up. I imagine a parallel to the UN and WHO and how that falls apart as they fail to deal with a very wise and cunning and resourceful conqueror. Kang's story should bring the MCU into direct conflict with Cosmic Beings like Galactus and Celestials and the Beyonder as well as more powerful earth bound beings like Apocalypse and The Externals and interdimensional and time hopping villains such as Mojo. Are these Kangs allies or are they the threats that the Council of Kang helped to neutralize? I'm looking forward to this. I'm bummed out that the introduction of Kang the Conqueror is with the MCU's least valuable player: Ant-Man. If they want us to take Kang seriously then allowing a buffoon to derail the Big Bad is a horrible way to introduce Kang but I'm really hoping that the story and future plans make up for that.

Killing off "The Kang" variant of Nathaniel Richards I feel just killed alot of the hype. He was the feared main threat in Marvel in terms of the consistent Nathaniel variant to wreak havoc. Why would people fear the other Nathaniels when the main one that people know about (Kang) was defeated by Antman in a solo movie? Just instantly deflated the hype-train that he was a Thanos level danger in combat. And no, this isn't there are infinite Kangs if you weren't paying attention. There are infinite versions of Nathaniel Richards, but Kang the Conqueror is that one specific variant that was exiled to the Quantum Realm and was trapped there until he ended up being killed by Antman and co. The Council are all variants of Nathaniel, but only one was the Conqueror and now he's already dead and wasted as a character.

It took three Ant-Man related characters, and two different armies to stop ONE Kang. Now, there’s a shit ton of Kangs, all with their own powers and skills. To me, the fact that Ant-Man barely won makes it clear that a single Kang will be a lot of trouble for most of the Avengers. Most of them don’t have insane powers. They’re all either dudes or chicks with guns that know martial arts, or all of the above with slight enhancements. Thor and the Hulks are strong, but a couple of Kangs working together will be a challenge. That’s the point. One Kang nearly did what Loki did in the first Avengers movie; a bunch of Kangs are gonna be a problem.

@@arankhalastchi5531 with Dynasty coming before Secret Wars, I can’t help but wonder if it’ll be the, heavy spoilers here but, if it’ll be the Immortus battle that ends with his death and the birth of the new one which could turn out to be the variant we got at the end of Loki. Something has to go very, very very wrong to lead into Wars though, that’s gonna be such a massive reboot potentially and if any of this comes to fruition, I’m incredibly interested in seeing how they set this all up with what all films and shows they’ve announced that will be happening before Dynasty and Wars. It’s gonna get wild lol.

That’s what I’m hoping for. Kang has the power to travel through time and different realities. Imagine a Kang who’s got a team composed of like Ultron, Thanos, Loki and a bunch of other major villains? Imagine a Kang who has an army of Tony Starks. A Kang with an army of Asgardian Destroyers. The possibilities are endless. Idk if Disney will go all out and go nuts with it like the comics do, but I’d love to see them just go all out with the concept.

The Kang we see in Antman was a bit unhinged as opposed to the Kang in the comics who is calm, cool, collected. In fact, confirmed by Daniel RPK, one of the post credit scenes is the Kang council reunited because the Conqueror died and they are ready to gather because of that.
